Travel bag for cabin approved strollers

Has anyone ever been told they can’t store their cabin approved stroller in the overhead bin because it isn’t in a storage bag?

I recently purchased the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 and got sucked in to buying the travel bag by the salesperson who said that airlines can decline letting you store it in the cabin without a bag.

Feeling a little dumb now and ready to return the bag because I’ve never heard of this rule, plus I travelled on an international flight recently with a different travel stroller and nobody said anything about it not having a storage bag.

New My 1st Tonies

Anyone else excited for new collection of My 1st Tonies that are coming?? Looks like two sets maybe? Sea animals and maybe another one, can’t work out what’s sitting on the Toniebox given that they usually come in threes…

Visiting the UK and thought I’d pick up some tonies for my 1 year old that we don’t get in the US.
Any recommendations? Don’t have to be suitable for him right now, can be ones I keep to give at a later time.

Travelling solo with my just-turned 1 year old for a 8h flight. Will have a travel stroller, back pack which I plan to use as diaper bag and small fanny pack/cross body.

Back pack will have extra clothes/snacks/diapers/medicines as well as laptop, important docs and new toys.

Cross body is roomy enough to have couple of diapers and wipes, hand sanitizer, snack spinner, passports, wallet, AirPods and maybe one small toy.

Am I missing anything that I should be prioritising for the cross body to have to immediate hand? I plan to keep it on me/at arms length the whole flight and put the back pack in the overhead with the stroller.
