Since when have football fixtures been referred to as 'ties'?
BBC news coverage of the world cup has been as you would expect from the BBC, except they keep referring to "England's tie with Mexico next week" and "Spain enjoy first win in a knockout tie since 2010 World Cup final"
Has referring to a match as a 'tie', even though the two teams have not drawn, always been a thing or is it a new way of referring to a match?

We've all seen questions about 'the most reliable cars' to look out for but..
What would folks on here say is the most repairable car*?*
- Availability of parts
- Affordability of parts
- Active community such as forums for advice etc.
In Europe, based on my experience, I'd put Fiat Pandas up there but what car comes to mind for you?
