I love how much they love each other!

Lavender has been with us for a week now, and is fitting right in. She’s perfect!

My faithful squire/wife helped me with the first full test fit of my Robert Baratheon Battle of the Trident costume that I’ve been working on for the past several months.

The test fit helped me identify a few things that still need attention:
● Reinforce a weak spot on the hammer’s shaft.
● Re-glue the underarm straps on the pauldrons.
● Lengthen the straps behind the calves by about an inch.
● Fine-tune the belt so it sits correctly.

Overall, I’m happy with how it’s coming together, but there’s still some work to do before I can call it finished.

For fun, I asked ChatGPT to place me in a Ruby Ford-inspired setting without altering the costume itself. It mostly succeeded… though it definitely took a few creative liberties.

My wife has about a dozen + Coach purses and like 50 of these charms. I asked for her to give me her favorite combo and I drew out a tattoo design for her. I just wanted to share, because I thought some of you folks might like it. I have included the drawing statistics in the last image, as the last time I posted art on Reddit I got killed and accused of posting Artificial Intelligence programmed art and claiming it as my own.

The black kitty is our daughter’s. She is now 18 and about to graduate from high school. She, of course, has big plans to move out on her own and be a “real adult”. Chances are slim that she will be financially stable enough to move out any time soon, but when she does, I worry for the emotional wellbeing of both cats to be separated 😰

When you’re doing your nightly check on the babies and find Walter snuck into one of HIS kittens’ rooms, just purring away like, “You’re welcome for getting this one to sleep for you.”

I have been working with an artist (who is soooo good) on this for about 7 months. I do have 3 previous tattoos on this arm, which we will blast over. I don't dislike those older tattoos, but I want this arm to be fully cohesive. The last picture should be similar to how it will look in its final form, which i have drawn and given to my artist as a go-by. The design behind Sting is just some chainmail filler (is this clear?), and I do realize Gollum on the elbow crease will likely need to be placed elsewhere. Any thoughts of suggestions??
