EBRD job application advice

Hi all! Over the past few years, I’ve applied several times for roles at EBRD’s London office where I genuinely felt I ticked almost all of the boxes. The roles are quite niche, and my experience is specifically tailored to the area, with 4-5+ years of relevant experience.

However, I’ve applied around 3-4 times now (at both Analyst and Associate level) within the same department and, for some reason, I haven’t even been shortlisted. I’m honestly a bit confused as to what it could be.

I’ve just seen another Analyst role in the same department come up, and I’m really keen to apply. Does anyone have any advice on how to stand out in an EBRD application or, at the very least, secure an interview?

Would really appreciate any tips from people who have applied successfully, work at EBRD, or have experience with their recruitment process. Thanks!

Taxi options

Hi all, I need to go from Napoli city centre to Casale Dei Mascioni just outside Caserta. Any suggestions for taxis and what would be the budget roughly?

Thanks!

Where are we finding interesting international development/development finance opportunities, apart from LinkedIn, charity jobs & bond? Any suggestions for openings (any type of organisation) for junior-mid level ?

Job rejection… by mistake?

I recently interviewed for a role and felt quite positive after the interview (overall thought it went well and the panellists liked me / connected with me). I received a call from their HR recruiter a few days later telling me that unfortunately I had not been selected for the role at this occasion and the feedback they gave was quite negative/does not seem to align with how I thought the interview went or even my experience (e.g. they said that I did not have extensive stakeholder mgmt experience when all my career has been about stakeholder engagement and the role did not have that as a priority either).

My question is, might this be a mix up? Is it possible that this was perhaps meant for someone else who interviewed for the role or could it be by mistake? Is it possible?
