Asked this because it seems people downplay Speed’s fame. People constantly say he isn’t the most famous streamer when he is EASILY the most popular streamer ever and perhaps the most popular Internet personality ever(yes even counting vine or any old social media site you can think of) but yet you’ll still see some people say he’s not that famous in America.

Think Speed has the football fame problem or whatever you wanna call it where Americans that live in a bubble claim Messi and Ronaldo aren’t that famous and think the entertainment world is just America when in reality Messi and Ronaldo DWARF any American celebrity.

Think Speed has this issue where at this point in his career (gonna be much more once the World Cup comes around)he has more of an international audience then an American one. So people (mostly Americans) get disillusioned and think speed isn’t that big when in reality he’s bigger than most American celebrities. Like if you look across is socials his engagement is INSANE. Think his most recent TikTok has 450k+comments and his Thank You Africa post on IG got over 11M like and over 130k+ comments. Most celebrities who have more followers do not get NEARLY the same amount of engagement that Speed gets. Thats real love.

I know there is some people still don’t know Speed since streaming is still somewhat niche but atp even if you don’t know Speed you’ve probably seen him since he DOMINATES the internet and has the most popular memes ever. We truly never seen an Internet personality THIS FAMOUS before so idk how people downplay it.
