Need help balancing this subclass(repost because I messed up the google doc link)

The main features I’m worried about are Bonded Mount and Rundown. For bonded mount, I’m worried that any creature up to CR3 may be too powerful, but I also want the subclass to be customizable enough that you can flavor basically however you want to, I’m considering adding a sort of skill system where as you level up, you earn more “points” you can use to buy features for your mount, but I‘m worried that would make the subclass too complicated. As for rundown; I have no idea how I should scale the damage to be balanced at all levels.

I'm going insane lol

I'm not really sure this fits heavy vent because my problems don't seem as big as the problems of other people who've used this flair, but I need it for the TW.

So anyway, 281 days ago I texted my immediate family that I had chosen to go by the name Lacie. Later, my mom talked to me later that day and said I should still go by (deadname) but as a nickname for a feminine version of my name because 'most kids don't choose their own names' and some vague shit about 'making sure I don't throw away my past self'? And I didn't really argue because I'm pathetic.

Anyway, soon after, they got very close to finding out about my SH and suicide ideation via snooping on my computer (another thing I'm pissed at them for) I managed to pass it off as just thinking about SH though. But knowing I was struggling so much probably made them reconsider using my name right? Haha, of course not :) the only thing that changed was I had a lot of privacy taken away because fml I guess.

About a month goes by and I finally pull together the courage to point out to them that refusing to use my name or pronouns is actually very bad for my mental health, the answer was basically just 'oh yeah, we can talk about that'. (We don't :D) every time I asked them if we can talk they go 'oh yeah' and immediately start talking about the loneliness I apparently have, and because again; I'm am pathetic I don't change the topic.

So around Christmas they find out about my SH and suicidal thoughts for real, (and take away even more of my privacy because of course) but they finally are willing to talk about my name. And they said they would be willing to talk about calling me a feminine name, but didn't want to call me Lacie (Same reasons as before) But also some random new BS about about the name being the same name as a character from a horror game I played and because the game is spooky I would associate the gruesome parts of it with myself and that would make my depression worse somehow??? They also said they would use She/Her for me but they haven't even tried and I'm too anxious to correct them.

I kind of just gave up at that point and avoided them as much as I could, but now they've come back to it and want to choose a new name with me (they seem adamant about being a part of that which I do not want) And I'm scared because I don't know what to do I don't want a different name I like the name I chose, and it's been almost a year so I've gotten used to thinking of myself that way but I'm also terrified to do anything about it because I don't want to come across as mean. I kind of hate them sometimes but I also hate myself because it's really my fault it's gone on this long for being a coward and they don't deserve to have me hate them because they're trying to help. I'm so sick of this though and I feel like ending things.

Any advice, encouragement or validation would be greatly appreciated.

What subclass would be good for this?

So I'm making a character who is a Fighter Sorcerer multiclass. the plan is to take 2 levels in fighter and then dump everything else into sorcerer because I want action surge and also rapiers are cool. The general idea for the backstory is just that she wanted to learn loads of different things so she left her knight training and studied to be a dancer (taking expertise in performance via prodigy to reflect that) and then finally got around to figuring out the magic stuff they've always had, but never got around to figuring out much. But I kept scrolling through the subclasses and couldn't find a sorcerer subclass I liked, anyone have recommendations? (I'm fine with homebrew)

Was I too harsh? I started feeling uncomfortable but I'm worried I overreacted and hurt some feelings.
