Image 1 — If both of these McLarens didn't have reliability issues which one would be more likely to win the drivers and maybe constructors
Image 2 — If both of these McLarens didn't have reliability issues which one would be more likely to win the drivers and maybe constructors

If both of these McLarens didn't have reliability issues which one would be more likely to win the drivers and maybe constructors

So these are the McLaren's of 2012 and 2005, I heard so much about how if these two cars didn't have shit reliability they could have won it all, but I got that from TikTok and you can't fully trust stuff there, so I thought this would be a better idea to post here before the times that I do post here I get pretty good insight on even things I probably wouldn't have been able to know

"what's the wildest driver transfer you seen?" I don't know maybe Max and lando not having a seat after season 1?

As you can see for a little second I wasn't involved in any of these transfers 😭 I picked Charles and nico. And of course Charles got replaced by Esteban, and Nico got replaced with Marti

For F1 27 you should have the ability to customize your car in every way that real teams can

The main thing that makes F1 F1 is the differences between cars. As I'm really looking at the Aston Martin car and how much it changed throughout the last couple races and the Hungarian Grand Prix now. And in almost every single part of the car that we can see just by looking at it It has changed a lot, And I feel like that should be an element in f127. You should be able to add little things to your car that sets your car apart from everybody else's. Like let me change the end plates let me add little parts to it. Let me change the floor fences, let me change how the diffuser looks, I feel like differences in F1 cars is what makes F1 such a technical sport and I feel like it should be represented with the my team career car.

(PS I'm not sure if there's like some licensing stuff that just completely fucks my discussion, and also how you would change the look it's just by upgrading the car normally.)

When you guys get tired of with a battery management in f126 do you guys play other F1 games?

Honestly when I get just really tired of the battery management I feel like the games that I love going back to are f12020, and f12016. I just feel like it's a necessary that I have to play a different F1 game after a bit. For f120 I really only use the classic cars and for f-116 I just like how the car looks (also the clip that I'm sending is just a clip of a nice overtake that I did today)

Should code Masters add back the ability to change teams mid-season?

So I was playing through f123 and after I chose my team which was Mercedes, the background changed to the Mercedes car and I just thought it was foreshadowing. To when I would eventually leave for Mercedes at the end of the season until I saw that I was actually the Mercedes driver replacing George. (ps I know it said that I would get changed for the remaining races of the season I just didn't care to read it when it popped up)

Who would have had a harder title fight if they both had the same car.

I'm going to try to explain it a little bit better because I'm not the greatest at explaining things, but what I mean by this post is if they were both given the exact same car, for 2012 they can have the Red Bull and for 2020 they could have the w11 of course, which driver pairing would have had the better/harder title fight?

(Also not fully sure if the pictures that I chose are ones from that specific season I just searched up pictures of them together and I just picked a random one)

Which out of these 5 games had the best handling/steering?

So I recently decided to go back on some of the old F1 games that I had and the very first thing that you always notice when you play some of the order games is how different the car feels and how different it turns

The lights on f1 23 are so intense compared to now

So one day basically today when this post came out I just really wanted to drive the RB19 and I wanted to try to see if I could beat Max. I downloaded the game, a game I didn't have much experience on I had like 53 hours on it before I moved on to f1 24, Because it came out around a similar time that I got f1 23.

And the first thing I noticed when I use the cockpit cam is how intense the lights are. Like you can see that the lights after you up shift there's like a little glare in the little area there's like a little after image I guess you could say. And when you're at max gear at your top speed your lights are just so much more intense than they are now. It genuinely caught me by surprise because I didn't remember that they had this and it was just surprising because I'm used to the lights being you know just there sometimes missing them all together. But with this it's almost kind of impossible for me to miss the lights

Why does Audi never get any points?

Throughout my entirety of playing the DLC every single time in every single session if it's a driver or my team career, Audi always and never gets any points in the first season, and then even beyond that you'll be lucky to see them get more than 40 All drivers combined, the most amount of points that I've ever seen an Audi driver get in my career is 57, And that was because I went over there myself and gave them the third fastest car

How do I get better at none/medium traction control.

So since about today I've been trying to really get into that racing mindset as I've been wanting to remove a lot of assists, before this I had basically all of them removed besides traction control and racing line. I wanted to get rid of traction control because I thought if I could just get rid of that everything else would maybe come easier, but I've been trying for about 3 hours now? Don't know, and I just feel like I just can't get it down, I've searched up videos and I feel like most of them are just unhelpful in a way or maybe I just can't learn, but I've been trying to understand how I could master it but every single time I think I'm making progress I go to a different track and I just turn into Mazespin. I was on zero traction control for a bit until someone on YouTube told me to go on medium, of course the difference is very much night and day. I feel like the main thing holding me down right now is just a muscle memory on my finger, because right now I'm playing on a controller and I have around 512 hours in the game so for all of those hours I've been just slamming down the throttle every single corner exit. If there're any videos that you think would help me out please tell me

When can we expect the special liveries to come to the game?

Of course I know that some of the liveries from the British Grand Prix won't be here for an even longer time but I just thought why not include them? Like how long does codemasters take to usually make a special livery and put it in the game.

Which F1 games should I get?

So I've been wanting to play a lot of different F1 games from the past I just don't know which one I should start off with, because I have f1 25 I have the DLC for 26, I have 24 and I have 23, and I also have f1 16 and F1 2020. So I got one of the games that people consider to be one of the best but I wanted to come here and ask which should I buy.

If classic cars come back for f1 27 which cars would you want past 2010?

I'm going to try to keep it simple, the cars I would want are of course the w11 the RB19, The Mercedes cars from both 16 and maybe 18. Of course there should be some other cars that have contended but didn't win the championship kind of what they did with 2010 where they had the Ferrari and the McLaren along side the winning RB9. And I'm not sure if this means anything but I think the electronic aspect of the cars could make it maybe unfair for some of the other cars? If someone can either verify or get rid of these concerns.

Hall of Fame tractor bending from the Cadillac drivers 😭

I haven't seen this amount of tractor bending since the 2014 Ferrari car with Alonso

Why did Riccardo leave Red Bull in 2018 when apparently all the problems were coming from the Renault engine?

So as I'm watching drive to survive which a lot of you guys said it was a decent idea to watch it and I know it's not really the most reliable source but you guys said season 1 was good so I'm trusting it. But that's besides the point, as I'm watching this I'm wondering why would Daniel leave to the team that has caused him the most problems? Apparently one of the main selling points that he didn't want to stay with Red Bull was because of the engine and how he didn't like the feeling that he couldn't do anything, so why would he go to the team that literally caused him the most problems? That has been the main reason why you didn't want to stay with Red Bull. (I messed up it's not 2018 it's 2019 my bad)

These two things are inevitable

The two things that I've noticed throughout my time playing the DLC, Hamilton always gets sent to the pits of hell Aston Martin/Cadillac, and Lance finding a way to get a seat he doesn't deserve 😭

Lewis Hamilton in infinite warfare.

So I'm not fully sure if this abides by the rules of this subreddit I'm not sure if it does but I just really thought it was cool, so I was just walking past playing the game like normal until I saw the name Hamilton on one of the AI and as a joke I just said " is that Lewis Hamilton?" And when I finally got a good look at his face it actually was Lewis I never knew that he was even in this game. And trust me when I say I've played a lot of infinite warfare and I never knew this till now.

Four wide in China

If you're wondering why the Aston Martin is there it's because I was driving it. 😭 this is my first time posting one of these, and I'm not the greatest at the whole photo mode thing so if there's some specific settings that you guys think could be cool to use I would like to hear them.

Is watching drive to survive worth it?

So I know how much hate drive to survive gets from racing fans, because some things they say are stupid or how one time I think I remember they added in a radio line from a race that wasn't even said during that race, and I wouldn't say I'm new to F1 sure I haven't been watching for that long since I have been watching F1 for about 2 years now and finally got a way to watch the races and not just the highlights like before hand. but I wanted to see if it's worth it because it's seems kinda funny sometimes from the stuff I see on social media.

wheel to wheel racing is amazing in the dlc

I'm in love with how the AI acts in this game compared to the last one, In f1-25 I'm not sure if this would have happened whatsoever.
