Let the love/hate begin on the 6R35 movement. Just got this out of the shop for a bad hairspring. It’s now running perfectly. Was in the shop for a while and glad to have it back on my wrist.

I’m wanting to have the option of a new look for my Tag Formula 1. I had AI mock this up with the navy sailcloth and the orange stitching to match the chrono second hand. I found the strap and will see if the stitching is close. Thoughts?

Slowly bring this baby back to its glory day. Just installed this NOS OEM bezel. Night and day from the aftermarket bezel I bought it with. Next up is a new bracelet, which will not be original. I got the uncle straps super z199. Old bezel in the 2nd photo.

I read somewhere, here I think, that the SPB155 is discontinued? I know none of the AD’s in my city have them. If that’s the case, I’m glad I have one! There’s some on EBay, mainly from Japanese dealers.

Just got this today from a seller on EBay. Watch was a lot cleaner than I expected. Bad news: timegrapher readings are really bad. +122 seconds/day, low amplitude, etc. So I guess I’m adding $200 to my purchase. One owner and I don’t think he ever serviced it. But at least I’ll have an awesome watch for the collection!

After anxiously awaiting a week for shipping, it finally arrived. The alpinist blue Lake! The pictures online do not do this watch justice, it’s absolutely spectacular! Bought it preowned from a great seller on the dreaded eBay and couldn’t be more pleased. I’m glad to welcome this beauty to my collection.

I bought my first Tag a month ago, a CAZ2014 formula 1. I do love it but something is bothering me that it’s a Quartz. Then I started researching pre owned automatics and found this. Do I sell my current tag, which I might take a hit on and buy the automatic at $1,500? I’m torn.

Which bracelet looks better? I can always swap them out. But presage bracelets are crap in my opinion.
