How to keep student ID and bus pass accessible? Lanyard?

I just got my student ID and bus pass, any tips for keeping them somewhere that's easy to pull out quickly? Someone said that keeping them near my phone might deactivate them. Do people use lanyards? Thanks!

Just Moved to a New Apartment, Scared!

Exactly what the title says! I just moved to a new apartment that's very different than my previous one and I'm about to spend my first night here. Hopefully it goes okay!

Residential Parking as a Grad Student

Hi Everyone. I just moved to Madison for grad school and I am curious how I can get parking in a residential neighborhood. I am close to Grand Avenue, but I am from out of state and the car I drive is still under my mom's name (I went to college close to my hometown). Any suggestions?

Have to "flex" my muscles to feel "right," anyone else?

This is probably more of a physical compulsion, but I have to flex/stretch/massage my muscles when it doesn't feel right. It's tough trying to explain it haha. Multiple times an hour (sometimes more), I need to equally flex/stretch/massage my muscles on either side until it feels even and "right," it's usually just one spot at once (calves, wrists, neck, shoulders, triceps, biceps, etc. etc.). Does anyone else do this? I'm not really looking for advice, more curious if others experience this or if anyone knows if it's called something.

Tolls

I'm moving from NH to Madison, WI next month and am wondering about the best way to go about paying for tolls. Is EZ pass worth it to set up for a 3 day trip? (I do not currently have one). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
