Will focus mode ever come to windows?

I’ve always been a huge over-editor when writing, to the point it sometimes takes hours for me to write a page because I constantly go back and edit. I downloaded Scrivener primarily because I saw someone talk about the focus mode, and it made me super excited because that’s exactly what I need. But I’ve been looking, and focus mode does not appear for me at all on windows. Does anyone know if they ever plan on adding it?

I feel like they shouldn’t include things in paras’ descriptions that we can’t do in game (small rant)

(I know the game is in early access so not all features have been released—this isn’t me at all trying to crap on the game or anything, so I hope that’s not how this comes across).

I’ve been super excited to start a rotational save file in Paralives, because the families all seem to have very interesting personalities/backstories and I feel like the game is perfect for that kind of gameplay.

I decided to start off the rotation with the O’Reily household, which mentions that Florence can devote herself to her garden now that she’s retired. I had a whole storyline in my head that I’ve been excited to do to build upon that, except..apparently there is no gardening in the game yet.

I fully understand and acknowledge that I should have looked more into this before buying the game, but I really wish they wouldn’t have made something such a core part of a para’s personality if it’s not possible to actually do said thing. I feel like it causes the para to feel less ‘complete’, if that makes sense.

Admittedly, this probably wouldn’t be a big deal if you don’t play with the paras already in game lol.

Anyway, I really have no idea what to do with them now—so if you guys have any ideas, suggestions, or stories that you did with them, I’d love to hear them!

How do you think life simulators should represent different countries/cultures?

A big complaint I often saw in the sims community, especially the Sims 4, was the lack of representation for countries or cultures outside of the United States (which is 1000% valid!)

One way to approach this might be to have a world for each continent, but that isn’t easily done when looking at a continent like Africa, where there are many countries and they’re all very different.

This may have been helped by separating Africa up into different sections and creating worlds for each of them (Western Africa, Northern Africa, etc). But then this raises the problem of when multiple countries in the same region are very different culturally/socially, and combining them into one world feels like it could easily become insulting due to historical context (such as Korea, China, and Japan in East Asia).

I’m wondering how you guys think the best way to handle this would be. I suppose the ‘perfect’ way would be to have a world for each country, but there’s like 195 (I think?), which doesn’t seem like it would really be possible. I just think it’s an interesting topic and I’m curious to know if anyone has any ideas!
