I am drafting my SOP as of now. And I am a bit confused about the tone of it. Some say keep emotion out of SOP totally and only focus on creating relevance with your research work/interest. While some say its okay to put emotional sentiments in there.
I am just confused. What is the standard? If anyone can advice from there experience I would be really greatful.

I want to know how much the reputation of my undergraduate University matters. I have near perfect GPA so I want to know ig will the reputation of my uni affect the scoring on my gpa also?
Ik the criteria might say 10% or this or that but I want to know from experience, how much this reputation thing actually matters? As in overall effect on the outcome?
I have completed my BSc in EEE from a private university in Bangladesh. Hoping to apply for the next intake. I was wondering how much the evaluation committee take the reputation of my undergraduate uni’s reputation or rank into consideration? Is this a defining factor?
