After sculpting some portraits for a few weeks without colorize anything, my new challenge is now painting what I sculpt, in a realistic or let's say semi-realistic style. I am still a noob in sculpting and I design characters with exaggerated features. Painting is a new skill to learn but I enjoy the process! Next step will be creating alpha brushes to simulate skin textures and add some details to my work. Wish le luck!
I started sculpting on Nomad at the end or June and sculpted my first human head on 4th of July.
This has been my work so far. Some using references, most using none (thus anatomical mistakes, I guess)
First head was made on 4th of July
Second on 8th
Third on 18th (not finished, hair sucks)
4th and 5th on 25th
6th today
I am a hobbyist, just want to have fun. Trying different styles and techniques but I mosty to make realistic or semi-realistic faces
I'll take any comments, both positive and negative!
Thank y'all
Pretty happy with the result even tho it is not perfect, I'd say I have been efficent.
I started 2 month ago and I start to feel very good improvements.
Any comment?
First attempt at sculpting a female, it is wayyy harder than sculpting men imo. This one took me to long and I am not satisfied at all with eyes and the ear. I will now try to sculpt the neck and then the hair, wish me luck
Hi,
This is my second serious attempt at sculpting a face and first try at painting. Painting is waaaay more complicated than sculpting imo
I paticularly had a hard time with defining the eyes. Scalp area is not great and neck anatomy lacks realism but I'm happy with the result. Might come back to it later when I am more experienced.
I took 9 hours I think.
I started 3D sculpting 3 weeks ago using Nomad Sculpt
Hi folks
This is my second attempt trying to make a male face. I've been using Nomad Sculpt for a few weeks now, doing some studies here and there.
I've been struggling with the hair that I am still working on. Very difficult to give an impression of thin yet long hairs. Also the eye as I tried a different ethnicity this time but I think it is not to bad now
I might want to point it but I am an absolute beginner . So far I put probably 8 hours into it
If you have any tips I will be glad to hear !
Hi guys,
I am a beginner, working on my first serious face. No reference but Anatomy for sculptors books helped tremendously
Just did a couple of skulls and a hand prior to that.
I think the cranium and forehead are to big tho, what do you think ? Eyes and ears are the more challenging to me, if you have any advices I'll take it!
