Anyone wonder why no one questioned the fact that Lucia's blonde

I am aware of her destiny to become the new Aqua Regina and that it only happened in the Manga but it's a bit weird that it never became important until the end. None of the other princesses questioned the fact that her hair was blond and not pink.

Is it me or does he contradict himself a lot

He goes on saying that Clark and Lois aren't their real parents yet he treats them like they are. He resents Clark for not being around in the future and growing up in his shadow, but Clark is dead, it's not his fault that he died. He complains about the fact that Lois isn't going to do anything while he and Lara do the heavy lifting and then about the fact that Clark isn't here. What do you expect Lois to do, she's only human, plus it's not like she's going to just sit and enjoy the show. But then when Lois tells them that Clark is finding a way to get his powers back he's like "ugh we're never enough for you". Finally when Lois yells at him for the fact him and Lara are at fault for the fact that the eradicators on loose and that clearly aren't strong enough to beat him seeing how Kara was knocked unconscious, Jonathan says " Sorry for saving you", Is my mind playing tricks on me because I do not remember a single moment where Jonathan saved Lois. It feels like no matter what Lois and Clark do he's going to be upset

Jonathan takes things way too personally, it's not that he doesn't matter or isn't capable, it's that there's a monster and they need all the help they can get. He should not be acting like that after he and Lara failed to stop the eradicator.

Characters keep getting interrupted before they can actually work things out

"My Adventures With Superman" really likes stopping characters from communicating. What happened with Lois and Clark isn't as frustrating since both of them failed to communicate and viewers sympathize with both characters. This issue probably would have been resolved had Kara not interfered. Viewers see how much it weighs on Lois's mind and how desperate she is to fix things. When they finally reunite it's very sweet and a good moment for both of them. Thankfully in season 3 Clark and Lois don't have a big problem in their relationship. While at first Clark is oblivious to Lois's concerns about the future and Lois doesn't initially tell him about it, they do talk, without it being a potential breaking point for their relationship.

As for Jimmy and Kara, their relationship as of now is a work in progress. Me personally, I don't see what Jimmy did in season 2 as a fumble. Kara had just escaped an abusive home and wasn't all that knowledgeable on earth. Her getting with the first man she met isn't the best choice. I believe that if they weren't interrupted Jimmy and Kara could have come to an understanding. I'd say that he started fumbling when he started going on dates with women he has no interest in. He wants to feel desirable and wants to make Kara jealous even though he chose to not be in a relationship with. Jimmy failed to take Kara's feelings seriously because of his insecurity( as well as the fact that she's gathering up suitors, but mostly his insecurity). At the beginning he was lucky since Kara did not take offense and saw it as a competition. But then he had the audacity to bring a date to her award ceremony and Kara was hurt. Kara learns that he was in love with her and confronts him. Jimmy apologizes saying that he thought she moved and recognizes that his actions were wrong. Next few times he talks to her he keeps saying that he'll work on being better for her but the show doesn't allow them to have a full conversation.

The show has 10 episodes each season and right now Kara is out of commission. The Eradicator has the time machine and Clark is working on getting his powers back. Both of these along with the super siblings will likely take higher priority over Jimmy and Kara's relationship. There are only 2 episodes left and I'm worried that the end of season 3 won't be satisfying for their relationship. For the majority of the season Jimmy messed up with Kara and now they're trying to figure their relationship out I wonder how the writers are going to pull it off and make it rewarding for the viewers.

Genuinely, what was Fanny's plan here? Kill Tree and then what?

She wanted to make a change, and yes, something had to change if they didn't want to keep losing. But killing Tree actively hinders their team. Not only will they have less teammates, they'll also only have one member with a full set of limbs. The only reason they won is because Price Tag had that trading idea, came at the right place, right time, and accepted to take Tree's trunk despite it being a downgrade from a glass panel. Death Pact Again genuinely got lucky here.

I don't like the way their team ended up being named the Diamond Cutters

Last month, I read the Sonic The Hedgehog IDW comics along with some side stories since I had just the metal virus arc but nothing else. For clarification it's not that I don't like that they're named the Diamond Cutters, I just don't like the way it happened. Tangle just blurted the name out with no consideration of how Whisper might feel about it. It kind of feels like she named the team that so Whisper would have some attachment to it and thus remain on the team, which is manipulative. I know that's not why she named the team, she wanted to be in as close of a team as the original Diamond Cutters were but still. It slightly feels like Whisper is being forced to move on. My second problem is that this is Lanolin's team not Whisper's. It doesn't bother me that much since I like Lanolin, but still. I feel like a team called the Diamond Cutters should be long to Whisper.

I don't think they were in the wrong for not believe Twilight

Twilight was grumpy since she learned about the wedding, and her friends didn't see the moment where "Cadance" barely acknowledges Twilight. A personality switch isn't too far-fetched since Cadance foal-sat her when she was probably a teen and now she's probably in her late twenties or early thirties and Twilight never suspected that "Cadance" was an imposter. Her friends didn't see anything wrong with her behavior. I'd say that she was the worst when she threw Applejacks food away, but Applejack easily rationalized it as her sparing her feelings. For Pinkie and Rarity's moments she was a bit rude but I feel like these were normal demands and while we don't see how Pinkie rationalizes her behavior it seems that she took as a compliment. Rainbow Dash wasn't paying too much attention and Fluttershy's bird was ear-shattering, no matter how good of a person you are that bird will never sound good. They should have tried to sympathize with her not liking her future sister-in-law but she did come off as jealous and overprotective, plus ultimately it's Shining's decision to marry her not or not. There's not much they can do about it. Twilight's friends never met Cadance before,Twilight only met her when she was young. Shining and Celestia should know her the most, and if they don't see anything wrong why should they?

Twilight jumped to conclusions way too fast in the scene where "Cadance" uses her magic on Shining Armor. I feel like anybody would come to the conclusion that she was trying to help with his migraine and it left him a bit woozy, not that she's evil. As for her bridesmaids why would anyone assume that she did something to them?"Cadance was at worst an unpleasant person to be around not evil. Twilight jumped the gun when she accused "Cadance" of being evil. Instead of talking to her friends, or Celestia in private she comes in with barely any proof, and the proof she did have(if you could even call it that) was easily debunked by Shining. "Cadance" ran away crying, that's not a good look on Twilight. I remember watching that scene when I was younger and getting second hand embarrassment. Maybe one or two of her friends should have checked up on her, but after such an embarrassing display, I understand why none of them wanted to be around her at the moment, she sounded crazy. To me it just felt like they needed some time away from her, they were still her friends, but with all the information they had Twilight was in the wrong. Even Twilight, herself, started to believe that she was in the wrong, and she then apologized to "Cadance", showing that she did not know what she was talking about. If Chrysalis didn't go overboard and sent her to her where she sent the real Cadance she would have probably won, since Cadance wouldn't have been there to make that spell with Shining and send the changelings away.

Anyone wonder how come there aren't any more manslaughter cases in MILGRAM?

Don't read this if you haven't caught up to T3

Okay so I started watching Milgram a few months ago because a friend recommended it to me, I caught up to Kazui's third trial and since then Amane's and Mikoto's third trials came out. In Milgram there's actual murder( Haruka, Muu, Mikoto kind of and Kotoko), there's unintentionally pushing someone to suicide(Futa,Mahiru, and Kazui) and then there's Yuno with her miscarriage and Shidou with killing brain dead patients. Amane's murder is the only that I would consider manslaughter since she meant to punish her mom and wasn't planning in her dying. But that's only 1 out of 10, I expected more.

Why do people think that Ragatha is fake?

I understand that she's a people pleaser and that the others have trouble believing that she's genuine, but she clearly cares about everyone in the circus and tries to make sure they are okay. It just feels like her toxic positivity drives people away from her because the situation they're in sucks. So why do people think she's fake

A rant on Thorax part 2

In “The Times They Are A Changeling” the crystal ponies seem perfectly fine with Crystal Hoof even though they were aware that there was a changeling on the loose. These ponies have way too much trust and faith in Spike. They see him walking with some pony that they most likely don’t recognize and still came over to talk to them. Even Twilight didn’t suspect anything when Spike introduced her to Crystal Hoof and he was acting pretty unnatural. While we didn’t see the scene, the fact that the guards let an unidentified pony into the castle just because he was friends with Spike is crazy, they should be making sure anyone that enters the castle is in fact who they say they are. What happened to all the wariness from the beginning of the episode? Cadence just let a stranger see her baby despite the fact that a changeling was on the loose. Then they get easily convinced by 1 song that Thorax is friendly. I suppose Twilight supporting Spike probably helped but still. For all we know they just let him live in the Crystal Empire without any safety precautions in case Thorax’s friendliness was an act.

The song “A Changeling Can Change” implies that Thorax started like the other changelings and then became friendly, but the truth is he was born this way. I’m fine with him being born different, I just wish there was a reason provided as to why he is different from the others. It would have been cool if he wasn't always good, he literally got grouped with redeemed villains/antagonists. While he did participate in the invasion it's probably because he was forced and he also never changed as a person so him being there doesn't hold the same weight to it. After the season 6 finale the next episode he appears in the next episode he appears in is the season 7 premiere but this episode wasn’t about him or the changelings so I’ll skip it. After this he appears in “Triple Threat”  where Spike tries to keep him and Dragon Lord Ember apart because he thinks that they’ll hate each other and go to war because of their contradicting personalities. Thorax tells Spike and later on Ember that there’s still some changelings that refuse to change and that he struggles getting them to listen. In the best part of the episode where he and Ember talk about their issues surrounding leading and Ember advises him on how to assert himself while he advises her to talk about her feelings more.

This was the start of a beautiful friendship. At least it could have been if it wasn’t the last time we saw them have any meaningful interaction. Them standing next to each other in the season 8 premier doesn’t count. In the new theme song they were flying around,I really thought they would have more interactions. Oh wait, I forgot about that scene where Ember literally accuses Thorax of kidnapping the children. Then Thorax mentions that they’re friends. That’s it, that’s the last time they ever interacted. They just made every creature in that room stupid except for Thorax because they knew it would be too out of character for him to want to go to war. Oh and “Triple Threat” is also the last time Spike and Thorax have any meaningful interaction too. We barely saw them being friends without Spike being a not so great friend.

The next and final episode where Thorax is really important is “To Change A Changeling”. In the episode we meet Pharynx, his older brother, who is still in the old changeling form. He believes that the Hive has gone soft, which in all fairness it has, but ruining decorations and painting others black is not the way to make anyone listen to you. It makes you seem like a childish killjoy Pharynx. The whole Hive was literally praying that he leaves and never comes back. Thorax managed to convince all the other renegade changelings to change. Unfortunately we didn’t see that. Seeing an episode where we see him actually assert himself would have been much cooler than meeting his brother that we didn’t know existed. It also felt slightly weird that Thorax actually had someone that did care about him back at the hive because when we first met Thorax it felt like he had no one that was ever there for him. Or at least that was the impression I got. But then it turns out he had a brother that clearly cared for him, and while some people might not consider their siblings friends I feel like Thorax would. I guess they must’ve grown apart as they got older. I guess Pharynx didn’t love him enough.

I really wish that we saw more of Thorax being assertive and protective. We saw a bit of it in “Triple Threat” but didn't have an actual fight. We saw Thorax being more assertive in “To Change a Changeling” when he made sure that Starlight and Trixie were coming to fix the mess that they made as well as when he yelled at Trixie at the end of the episode. The confrontation with the Maulwurf was fun but isn’t as cool as an actual fight would have been. I believe that if the ones he loved were in actual danger, Thorax could actually lock in and put up a decent fight, but that’s just my opinion. This is actually longer than my first post, if you’ve read the whole thing, again I thank you, really appreciate it.

A rant on Thorax

Okay so Thorax is my favorite character in mlp but I do have a few gripes with him. When we are introduced to him we see that he was born nice while all the other changelings start off aggressive for some reason. We never learn why he was born this way though. Was he dropped as an egg? Did Chrysalis put an enchantment on the eggs and somehow miss him? Is Thorax secretly from another hive? He does look different from all the other changelings and his transformation magic is a different color. We don’t learn why he is different, he just is. Oh well he’s not a main character and if there was a reason I doubt Thorax would be aware of it.

How come Thorax wasn’t killed for his defective behavior, he probably wasn’t that useful or promising and is just an extra mouth to feed. Unless Thorax learned to fit in, I don’t see why the changelings didn’t eventually kill him. Pharynx protected him from bullies, but Pharynx couldn’t have always been there, could he? Maybe Pharynx had a high position in the hive and used that to protect Thorax, he was shown to be tougher than most changelings. Pharynx also looks different from the rest of the changelings and we are not provided a reason for why that is.

The second episode that Thorax appears in is the season 6 finale, where he, Starlight, Trixie, and Discord defeat Chrysalis. Honestly, I would have had him appear in at least one or two other episodes. Imagine someone just happened to not watch “The Times They Are A Changeling” ; they're going to be confused when they watch the finale. Plus he was one of the main characters in the finale, you’d think he’d get some development before playing such a big role. The guy becomes king by the end of the episode despite not showcasing a leadership quality other than being caring. Starlight also did most of the work.

On one hand, I like the fact that he is inexperienced and learning as well as his friendship with Ember. On the other hand I have a hard time seeing Thorax being genuinely happy with his newfound responsibility. He lived in a society that mistreated him, possibly ranging from being unsupportive to being abused, I don’t see him being perfectly fine with living in the hive again. Sure the hive became better but the present does not erase the past. Plus I doubt people can get rid of their negative traits that quickly. They were completely fine with him dying a few minutes ago. I suppose they were pretty negative in “ To Change A Changeling” but Pharynx was a bad member of the community and Thorax wasn’t doing a good job at stopping his brother. You think they also celebrated when they realized Thorax was gone or did they just forget he existed? Both Thorax and Pharynx were outcast at specific point in time, maybe they both are from different hives.

Also wouldn’t giving Chrysalis all his love kill him? I supposed the choice was slowly dying or doing something that could potentially kill you, but if it doesn’t you’ll live. If I was a changeling in that throne room I would be thinking to myself “ How am I supposed to know for sure that doing this won’t kill me.This guy has always been different, and he allied himself with ponies, how am I supposed to know if they did some weird magic stuff on him?” of course changelings started transforming proving that it does work on them.

As for the redesign I don’t mind it all that much, but I don’t like how the rest of the changelings look like recolors of each other.  I do believe that a redesign is needed, if changelings were going to become characters, them all looking the same is kind of boring and would probably confuse kids. If I were to redesign Thorax I would give him a more icy, crystal or pink and give him a heart motif look to reference his time in the crystal empire and the fact that changelings feed on love. The rest of the changelings can stay black, but they could also have other colors. I would also give them hair, I dislike how bald they are. I had much more to say but this is getting too long, I might just make another post. If you read all of this thank you I really appreciate it. Tell me how you would have written Thorax in mlp.
