Is the Foundry generally loud?

Incoming law student looking for an apartment. How loud is the Foundry? I'm looking for somewhere quiet and debating between the Foundry or an apartment in Mishawaka. Can't do the Overlook because of the no pets policy.

Is Vanderbilt giving any scholarship money off the waitlist?

Title. If I’m going to take a 85 minute test, I’d like to know there is hope that I could actually attend.

Don’t think I can afford T14

I was soooo excited when I first got the feelers last week. I am over LSAT median. I got 20k a year at both of them. I really wanted to go to a T14, but I don’t think I can justify the 150-200k extra cost compared to a T20 that gave me nearly full tuition. I think even if I miss big law, I’d be better off financially not taking on that extra debt. Most associates don’t even make it to year 5 of big law. I just don’t have that kind of money sitting around. Anyone made a similar choice to turn down these kinds of schools? I’ve already tried negotiating with no luck.

edit: can graduate from T20 debt free as long as I have a job - even if not big law - during the summer. T14’s are just higher tuition, HCOL, and higher fees and would lead to 150-200k debt probably even with big law summer.

Northwestern Housing?

Any students at Northwestern (or the surroundings schools) have any insight to share about where you are living and how much rent you are paying? The options linked on the NU website all seem to be 2-3k+ base rent and not include any parking.

I got into NW off the waitlist, but with a lot less money than I got at a T20 (debt free). Trying to figure out how much in loans I would have to take out to pay for NU and Chicago housing. Thought I knew what I was getting in to coming from a similar sized metro area, but these prices are crazy.
