padhai to theek hai baaqi zindagi itni sad hojaati hai jiski koi hadd nahi
no one to talk with nothing to do bas padhte raho
and it's not even ki merko accha college milega to things will get better ya mera mood accha rehne lagega, some things are just khatam
and typing shit here is like screaming at the abyss, which it lowkey is
wish things were simpler
now this timer doesn't even make sense, idk why should I even keep doing this
it's not even something I enjoy, at days I feel as if I'm just flexing instead of taking real accountability, which is a very shitty thing tbh - I swear I ain't egoistic

To the ones who did not get any IISERs 🙌🌸 (Round 9 finishes for '26)

(to whomever it may help out)
Hi so this is going to be a comfort one, it's gonna be cliche at times but I'd go on with it. 😌

It's okay, if you did not get into any IISER, it is okay. The world won't turn to you, and no, your research dream hasn't ended. It has pivoted at best, not ended. Don't be disheartened ruminating your life choices, "I wish I were there" is valid, but you being here today - wherever you are, is equally as important.
And to the ones who couldn't make it, I won't brush anything off, if it hurts you then it's real and no amount of "it's okay" would magically fix that, but, I would say that if you're still here and thinking things through you're powerful. And it takes a lot to give an exam like that and see hope slip away from your fist like sand, but that isn't the only metric of it.
You not getting a seat wouldn't make you a loser, it wouldn't limit you from science, no, not ever. This is a big space, I'm sure you'd find some space for yourself, make yourself comfortable.
And IISER is a good place, but it's not everything and you know it. That wouldn't be a lie, I promise.
So it will obviously take a while, but I'd say this again for if you ever doubt this :
IISERs are NOT everything
You're NOT lesser than for not getting an IISER seat
And that's okay, you've spent enough time battling yourself, and the world. It's time you cut some slack off for the good within.
It was a big deal, sure, but as I said, you're allowed to feel bad for the moment, you're allowed to clench your jaw and cry hard.
Don't you ever feel low about any of this for if a person suggests otherwise.
You're more than IISERs can ever be. And that's not to downplay IISERs at all, they're great colleges, but it's time you wipe some tears off, take a deep breath, and most importantly not beat yourself up for any of it. You did not have control of your rank, the best we all were supposed to do was to study. And things can shape and affect that too.
So make sure you're not sobbing all the time, because you have to chin up and show your pretty face to the world next! 😉🌸

And if you feel as if it all were your mistake, your own wrongdoing, it might be, it's okay if you cannot evaluate everything black and white as of now. Because maybe you're already going through a tough phase and it may be that you cannot really think with an unbiased mind. But even if you were to go with that thought, then again, I'd only have to congratulate you, because it takes a lot to dissect one's own image and be so honest.

Regardless, you're a person worth celebrating for, no matter if you got an IISER or not, and I hope it could tell you more than you think that there is.
Lastly, I'd say it again, it's okay to feel scared, anxious or otherwise, you're allowed to be someone weaker for a while and that's the whole point of living!

So don't be so static now, my little scientist Farishta! God bless you all babu and babies reading this 🌸😇🙌
