"This also doesn’t come with any changes to SHR’s agreement with Toyota. This is just Creed joining the No. 26 team as a building block. To wit, Creed wanted to return to Joe Gibbs Racing but Steve Desouza did not have a fit at this time, and SHR represents the next best step to be part of the Toyota family." So looks like Creed tried to make a return to Gibbs at first.

[Eric EStepp and Brennan Poole's YT Show] Around the 44:20 Mark, Poole mentions that there is rumors of Starapoli is heading somewhere else which leaves the 48 open.

Very curious what Borchetta does this time around.

[Weaver on Motorsport.com] Chandler Smith and Carson Brown's RCR tandem was a long time coming.

Some interesting notes from Matt:

Chandler says RCR offered him the 2 car back in 2024 when he was finalizing his JGR deal but was so far down the road with JGR and Toyota and didn't feel like changing that last minute.

Danny Lawrence said that they have several drivers on their list should anything necessitate another quick pivot like what happened this summer.

Lawrence also said that if they don't have a seat for someone that's very very good that they'd reach out to their Alliance Partners to spread the love a little bit but then the Deal with Jesse and Hill taking over the 33 pretty much set it up for next year.

RCR was committed to Carson Brown racing O'Reilly as quick as the moment he turned 18.
