My biggest surprise in Grandia II was when they killed [spoiler] off at the very beginning. Since [spoiler] had a character sprite, I thought [spoiler] was going to be part of the main cast lmao

Is there anyone here who grew up with parents who were strictly against them playing the piano, or perhaps even any musical instrument ?

I'm curious, since I've heard a lot of stories about people being forced to play the piano by their parents, but not the other way around.

I'm wondering if there's anyone who could share their stories about parents who were against them playing the piano? Either disapproving, or straight up banning them? I'm interested in how you managed to start/continue playing the piano because of this, as I imagine it would be practically impossible to get access to a piano and lessons as a child/teen if parents didn't allow it.
