The moderation on this subreddit is very confusing.

Regarding the strict language filter. While yes, I understand wanting to monitor language it's also... maybe the wrong kind of subreddit for that? Images with Miis swearing, insulting each other, talking about offensive topics is allowed, but if you were to describe the same words in written text you get automatically flagged.

It's confusing to have such strict moderation for a game that has 0 filters. It becomes very annoying to interact with people, for example asking what your Miis call you, when you have to censor the words sl*t, b!tch and @ss.

It also feels pretty hypocritical that images with offensive words are allowed while writing the same words in text gets flagged? Maybe images get taken down, idk, feel free to correct me.

What happens when you give married Miis the younger-spray (or whatever the heck it’s called)?

So I have these two OCs I’ve had ever since I was little, but I’m 18 now, and I’ve made them to be aged up as in their 30’s (they were my age when I first made them as a little kid). They’ll be married soon, but at some point I wanna make them as their younger selves too, so what will happen if I use the young-spray on one when they’re married? Will they have to fall in love again once they’re both reversed? Or will they automatically become a couple again once they’re both young?

How to break up sweetheart miis?

I feel so mean asking this but one of my miis got a crush on another and they barely knew each other so I was like “sure girl ask her out 😭” doubting it would work but wanting to see if anything interesting or funny would happen, surprisingly she said yes ?!?!?

and now I really want to pair them with different miis but my miis never really seem to fight or argue or show any signs of jealousy or doubt like all the videos ppl post online, help </3

Another happy family ruined by RNG

These two have been soulmates since the day they married, living happily with their daughter who they both cherish.

I just opened my game and now one of them is simply “happy” in the relationship. I s2g if they divorce I’m deleting my island.

i think i just accidentally discovered how to make (imperfect) short shorts/high-waisted shorts/pants and crop tops (sorry if this is obvious)

if you tuck in their shirts there's a little "puff" of fabric, but it can be easily disguised as part of the shorts/pants. you just have to create custom pants that match the skin for shorter shorts! for crop tops with a tighter fit and high-waisted things, you just have to tuck in the shirt but customize the design by adding their belly and part of their pants/shorts etc to the actual shirt design so it fits seamlessly. kind of confusing to explain, i think the screenshots explain it better 😇

anyway, it’s not perfect by any means, but much better than a crop top with a belly drawn on where the shirt isn't tucked in or the default short length for some outfits.

EDIT: someone asked me how i match the skin tone, so i thought i’d add it here. i use the stamp tool to choose which mii i’m making the item for, stamp their face on the canvas, use the dropper tool to select the skin tone, and undo the stamp. if there’s an easier way, i haven’t found it, but that’s how i do it!

Does this mean my Island will not get any bigger?

I feel like I barely have enough room for everybody's houses and I only have 30 something miis :( they're going to be living on top of each other if I don't get my Island bigger
