My works of art. That’s it that’s the post.

So I'm new to downloading mods and stuff for Sims 2, I play on the Legacy Collection version. I found out that for recolors u have to download and install CEP. I've done that, and I've been trying to download these posters that are a recolor of a Nightlife picture, but the recolors won't appear in-game.
Does anyone know what could be wrong. I have a downloads folder, inside that I have a folder which the CEP files are located, and then another file named "Decor", inside this Decor folder is where I have extracted the Package files for these posters. Despite all this they won't show up in-game.
Any help at all would be appreciated
Hey there, so I'm new to Sims 2 and idk where to best find maxis match CC today. I really wanna find some nice clothes and hairstyles for my sims, especially for the teen sims I currently have.
If anyone knows any good sites and could point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. Been really enjoying ts2 as it is, can't believe I only played ts4 for so damn long lmao.
Simmers, specifically those experienced with The Sims 2. After only playing The Sims 4, I decided to get The Sims 2 Legacy Collection, as my intrigue got the better of me.
I’ll be real it’s been a tiny bit overwhelming after realising “oh crap there’s a lot more to these systems than sims 4”. There’s a lot of menus and I don’t quite understand what most of the dlcs do for the game or even a lot of basic stuff etc. I’ve started with my own custom sim and I’ve just managed to get him a girlfriend to move in with him and his dog but that’s about it.
Any advice at all would be welcome cause there seems to be a lot more layers (and struggle there looks to be actual challenge here compared to sims 4) to the game and I wanna understand it all.

Also I’m probs not gonna be replying to any advice for a few hours as I’ll be sleeping cause it’s late where I’m at, but thanks in advance :)
I have no words for this, why this was a recommended thing is beyond me atp 💀
