Hating pets after birth

I saw this on a tik tok post and it made me angry. Some mom was saying how after she had her baby, she grew to hate her dogs, to the point she would get so frustrated with them they would hide from her and be scared. Some comments bashed her, some are in support.

I understand that it's maybe hormone change or whatever, but I don't know why some moms just casually comment how much they hate their pets after having a baby! Your pets were there first. this is one reason I will never have kids. I couldn't even stand the thought of hating my pets after having a baby.

If you are going to be that hateful towards your pets after having a baby, rehome them to someone who will actually care for them.

Family photos 1910s-30s

My great grandma, Helen (1920-2010) kept a lot of photos of her family. I thought you all would be interested. These pictures range from the 1900s to the 1930s.

  1. My Great Grandma Helen, and her father Godfrey. Not sure of the year, but based on her age I assume 1923? 1924?

  2. Godfrey and Helens older brother, Robert. He was born in 1912, so this picture is probably from 1913?

  3. Godfrey with his sister, Helen. Helen died before my great grandma was born (1914) so it makes me wonder if she was named after her aunt

  4. Godfrey and his sister Anna (sitting) and his first wife, Bertha. She was Helen and Robert's mother. Bertha died in 1921, Anna died in 1970. Godfrey died in 1941

  5. Godfrey and my great grandma. 1921? I'm not an expert on guessing ages, and she didn't put a year on the back of this photo. All she put was their names.

  6. Final photo is Godfrey, his siblings, parents, and one of his grandmothers. Pre July of 1914, as that is when his sister Helen died. The youngest male sibling was born in 1898, and he looks quite young here. Maybe early 1900s? 1902-1905?
