My blind betta is glass surfing

I recently got a samurai betta with pretty bad diamond eye on both eyes for the most part he can’t see almost at all, but I always see him glass surfing all my other fish act normal too he’s always just tripping out I don’t know if the walls are just his preferred hang out spots or he can slightly see his reflection but I even blacked out the tank walls and he still glass surfs

Does anyone else rarely see their shrimp moving

I have about 20-25 shrimp in a standard 10 gallon I do have a lot of hiding spots but I literally never see them move around at all. I check for deaths and stuff and I never find dead ones I just never see them. At first I thought my betta was eating them but he doesn’t pay attention to them at all
