These are some crazy squashed and pumpkin looking boys! Lol. What do you guys think?

Their packaging is marvelous. They give extras, like brushes, gloves and leather pouch. Their customer service is lovely and they offered me a refund.

However.... they heavily process and clean their walnuts. They say it is just to clean the debris and alkali and to do quality control and they seem to be very proud of this. However the walnuts is received seem dyed, or so heavily dark brown "oxidized" according to them that I know the patina can never happen.

I believe this ruins the walnut. What do you think?

The flash doesn't show how dark they are in the hand. But I show one of my week old nuts for comparison. In person they are a very dark, very shiny, completely uniform, brown.

Gonna try to use these! They seem perfect for getting into the really feel crevices and just focus on those stubborn spots that I can't seem to reach with normal brushes without ruining them. Also saves the majority of my nut from surface damage from stronger brushes!
