Help me review this Asus laptop option - Asus Zenbook 14 [USA]

Hello everyone,

I've been looking to buy a new windows laptop for a while, and I narrowed it down to this option but I'm unable to decide if this is good or not.

My use case:

- programming

- usually have visual studio and vs code open, and multiple chrome tabs

- budget: around 1500USD. Can stretch up to 1800USD if it's a good option

Looking for ultra 7 or 9 with H type processor, and 32 gb ram.

I've come across this Asus Zenbook 14 on Best buy at 1500 with ultra 9 295H. Can you please help me review if this is good for my use or if there are any other similar or better options?

Thanks in advance.

Need Asus laptop suggestions for programming under 1500 USD

Need a Asus laptop suggestion for programming. Using an Asus vivobook since 4 yrs and it doesn't handle my current workflow. I've had issues with it, but I would like to give another try. I'd prefer if the build quality is good. Pasting a questionnaire from another sub which has detailed requirements.

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

Country

USA

Budget

1000 USD to 1500 USD

Are you open to refurbs/used options?

NO

Screen size

Any

Weight limit

Any

Purpose

For Programming. I work on personal or freelance projects, so I need a laptop suitable for web development.

Form factor

Standard

Intended usage

I mainly work on .NET development, so I usually have at least one Visual Studio window open, and likely a couple of VS code windows, lots of browser tabs usually chrome, and some database.

Desired battery life

I don't have a particular number in mind. But a decent battery life should be good.

Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

Performance, Battery life, Size doesn't matter but I like having full sized keyboard, weight doesn't matter. Display doesn't matter but if possible I'd like to have a good one.

Info/Requirements

Looking for only windows laptops as I work with .NET. And looking for only Intel processors (looking for H processors as I've heard those are the best for performance). If possible I want 32GB RAM and 1TB storage but if a lower configuration setup meets the performance requirements that's good as well.

Mainly looking for options in Lenovo, Dell, HP or Asus cuz of their brand reputation and durability. If there's any other options which can be as reliable and durable as these brands I'm open to them.

I'm open for MacBook if there is an option for returning it in case I do not like it. As I work with .NET, development is inconvenient on a MAC. I'm open to try a MAC for a while and if it's inconvenient I'd like the option to return and get something else.

How to recover account after losing access to the linked main mobile number? Have access to other linked mobile numbers.

Hello everyone,

I have recently uninstalled Instagram on my phone, and then reinstalled and am trying to login. I have two factor authentication enabled, so IG is asking me to either approve it on another device, or enter code sent to Mobile number or enter backup code.

The issue here is, obviously I don't have it logged in another device and I don't have backup codes. The main mobile number linked to my IG account is my Indian number. and I have moved to US and lost access to my Indian number, so I'm unable to receive codes to that number. I'm pretty sure I have added my US number to my IG account at some point, but I don't see the option to receive code to that number. So currently, I have no way to login.

Even if I try to use "forgot password" or other account recovery options, I'm stuck at the same backup code or OTP step.

In account recovery, there's an option to send a video selfie but I don't have any pics uploaded to my IG. So that's not working as well.

My Facebook account and Instagram account are linked. So I tried to see if I'm able to access IG from Facebook, and change MFA options. But when I try to do it, I'm getting the error "new device detected. We'll allow you to make this change after using this device for a while". So I'm unable to use this as well.

I tried to see if there's a way to reach out to Instagram support but as you might already know there's no way to reach a human.

So I just wanted to ask if there are any other options or things I can try to recover my account. My current mobile number is linked to Instagram, but I'm unable to use that number to get the code. So I want to know if there's any possibility for this at least.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks I'm advance.
