I've been using E0S1 Phainon and E0S1 Castorice to clear endgame for quite a time now, since months ago, and ever since my Phainon kinda fell off since he is non-E2, I am currently sticking with Ashblade and a really not highly invested Castorice team (I got unlucky getting her teams) to clear the current endgame. I just noticed that my Castorice relics/planars are kinda ahh, but she still managed to clear endgame properly despite it. For clarification, I had a really trash rope before this, so my DPS benchmark wasn't even at 100% at that point.

My current plans are to improve my build better and invest in her team more because she really is doing some heavyweight lifting right now in my account with prehistoric teams.

What are her vertical investment priorities? I really wish someone here had Hoyo as their uncle cuz I really want to find out what Robin SP actually provides for the Remembrance team so I can plan my pulls properly. Hopefully not Evernight cuz I like her aesthetic.

For context, I'm farming for Mblade's set, and I was about to use Navigator on Phainon if I managed to get him to E2, but my plans changed, and I think I can't even afford to get him to E1 at this point. So I was planning on using this for Archer instead because I have a garbage Genius set and I find it really inefficient to farm there (probably won't have a choice if I get Rin but still). I am aware there's a megathread for posts like these, but I don't think people check on them anymore. I'll remove the post if it is not allowed.

Should it stay or should it sashay away?

I heard Gilgamesh's LC would have that same thing where you need to pull 100(?) times to get the LC. I wonder if I should pull for Rin for my Archer or vertically invest in Gilgamesh's Eidolons, assuming they are good? I also haven't pulled a single ticket on the collab banners so this might not even matter cuz I might lose anyways xd

I honestly don't know where to post this without getting a biased answer lol, so I'm probably gonna post a separate one in PhainonMains as well.

I was about to go all in on getting E2 Phainon, but now I am having doubts. Here is my situation.

I am like 10 pulls away from getting any guaranteed character I want, and my current jades are, well, roughly 10 pulls.

I currently have Ashveil right now, and though I am comfortable with letting Phainon and Ashveil borrow each other's best current team. I still plan on getting the second premium FuA team. Which I was planning on getting when the MDPS FuA releases (I assume Mortenax Blade will get a rerun at that point).

I wonder if I can save that much to get E2 Phainon throughout the patches, or should I just go with Mortenax Blade? (I am F2P currently, but I plan on considering a pass)

As the title suggests, I wonder which is more reliable for character optimization? I am asking this because I am kinda confused between my Ashveil and Phainon ratings on both. My Ashveil's relic rating is 32 in-game, but in Fribbles, he is rated as S+. Meanwhile, my Phainon's relic rating is 27, but he is SSS in Fribbles. This might be because Fribbles has many more factors than the relic ratings' simple count of subsidiary stats.

I'd also like to ask how to optimize my Phainon better. I am no min-maxer, but I heard that Phainon needs good relics to perform well (compared to other MDPS, at least). So I am making an exception for him. I wouldn't have asked this if I just didn't notice my Phainon kinda struggling with endgame content as of late (I don't have E2 yet, but I do plan on getting it next nearest banner). I also find it weird that Ashveil is kinda performing better than him with similar teams. I mean, Ashveil got released later, so it makes sense, but damn, an intended Sub dps performing way better than him feels kinda bad.
