Need suggestions to sell and breakeven without any loss

Need suggestions to sell and breakeven without any loss

I am a college student, and I mostly invest my pocket money. I've been doing this for more than 6 months, and here is my stock portfolio.

As you can see, most of them are at a loss. Also, I have over-diversified my 6000 rupees out of curiosity.

I am thinking about putting all this money in a mutual fund. So that i need not spend much time on doing stock analysis and checking charts. Also, I have already invested around 10000 rupees in a small cap, flexi cap, and an index fund.

But if I sell, all of it will end up in a loss. I dont want my 6 months of investment journey to go negative. Also, things to consider are brokerage, dp charges, and other charges applicable, too. If I sell all of them now, I'd be at a loss of 300-350 rupees, including all these charges.

Is there any way to minimize this loss and exit by not making any loss (or any profit)?

I take too much time on understanding the RCs

(Notes that I took while reading a aeon passage.)

I'm preparing for CAT 2026 and am currently overwhelmed with the VARC section.

I've always wanted to read books and stuff but never actually developed a reading habit.

Now, it seems that I'm taking too much time on RCs.

I read the same sentence multiple times, and I get stuck at the same point if I don't understand a word. More importantly, I never read before, so I'd understand the core argument of the passage, the author's tone, etc.

I'm amazed that some people could do it very naturally, and they spend very little time reading the passage.

For example, I recently read an aeon essay about "violence specialists." I took around 15 minutes to read that 500-word passage.

I know it's too much time on a single RC.

I even wrote down the important points of the passage while reading (attached to this post). And uploaded it to gemini to ask for help.

"You perfectly captured the essay's skeleton and the author's narrative flow." Gemini continued, "The level of detail, neatness, and structuring in this flowchart is exactly why the passage took you 20 minutes. Under strict exam constraints, creating a physical map this elaborate will eat up the time you desperately need for answering the actual questions and tackling the rest of the passages."

It's not the level of detail of the notes that eat up my time, but it's just that my reading is so slow.

More importantly, even if I read at this pace, my accuracy is still not getting 100% most of the time.

We still have a little more than 140 days remaining for the d-day. What should I do to actually increase my reading spe- NO. The question is probably: HOW TO READ PROPERLY?

I currently solve CAT daily targets. Read aeon essays. And pretending to read some books. But I couldn't see any progress so far.

In CAT 2025, I scored only 72 percentile in VARC. But it is actually my strongest section. Atleast I need to get 95+ percentile in this attempt.

So please feel free to share any tips and your experience with VARC, so that it may come in handy for me anyone with the same issues reading this post.

GAVE MY FIRST MOCK AS MY PREVIOUS YEAR CAT EXAM

CAT 2026 is my second attempt.

I failed CAT 2025 miserably by scoring 58 percentile (22 marks).

I found out that I lost most marks due to negatives.

I took the same question paper as a mock for my preparation and scored a little bit more.

I know this is still not enough. But I consider this as a zero-prep mock.

Last time I didn't even give mocks. But this time I'll give atleast 30 mocks before the exam, and this is my first mock scores.

I do not wish to convert BLACKIs or Top IIMs.

85+ percentile is good enough for me, since I only wish to convert a good and decent BSchool with good placements.

How can I improve my score?
