Did we do something wrong?

Hi everyone!

I (30F) visited Stereo only once, with my boyfriend. He absolutely loves the sound system there and he’s a DJ for fun, so he loves great sets. We wanted to dance together all night. We went on a Saturday at 4 a.m. and we didn’t know the DJ, but we were happy to discover him.

However, we had a rather unpleasant experience. My boyfriend had a great time the last time he was there, but this time, the ambiance felt aggressive and strange. I couldn’t dance without feeling uncomfortable and even with my boyfriend behind me, I felt like people were trying to grope me. Even he felt like people were bumping him and pushing him out of the way. I just wanted to close my eyes and dance to the music but I couldn’t.

It’s hard to explain, but we go to raves and EDM festivals often, and I’ve never felt this way before. We changed places multiple times and weren’t in anyone’s way, but we were never left alone to dance. Finally, I felt unsafe and left.

Did we do something wrong? I was wondering if we could go to the right side instead, just to dance and have a good time? I think usually as a straight couple we are supposed to be on the left side, but I’m not sure of the rules.

I think I need help figuring out the unwritten rules and understanding why this experience was so bad for me. Do you have any advice?

I love to discover new DJs and to dance so it saddens me that I didn’t like it!!

Hello,

I’m in shock. My cat was diagnosed with stage 3 renal failure today. He’s only 8 years old.

Last month, he lost his appetite and vomited spit and bile. Worried, I took him to the vet. He’s always had a sensitive stomach, so I assumed it was just digestive issues. The vet’s exam and blood work were normal, so they prescribed some appetite stimulant and Cerenia for a few days.

This week, it happened again. I noticed he was drinking a lot more water than usual, so I took him back to the vet. We did another urine analysis and blood work. His urine was very diluted, and the tests showed no infection or crystals. However, the vet kept repeating that it was very diluted, which could mean an infection was missed. Blood work revealed stage 3 renal failure.

It’s all happening so quickly. He’s so young. I’ll change his diet and give him omega-3 supplements. I’ll also learn how to give him subcutaneous fluids.

Monday we’ll do another urine analysis to see if this is an infection.

Does someone have words of encouragement? Advice? I feel lost and so worried :(
