I'm trying to get my PSA AR10 back up and running, and the newest problem is the head of my Presma (I think) action rod is spinning.

It came loose trying to get the old PSA barrel off, and now that I'm trying to install a new Criterion barrel, it spinning at well below 40 ft-lbs.

The black holes just below the head do not have set screws or anything I can tighten in them, just some sort of weird press fitting.

My first thought is to simply drill one or both out, fit an aluminium or steel rod through, and call it a day.

Any thoughts?

Anyone have a good plumber they like?

The first estimate on replacing a hot water heater is a bit steeper than I was expecting.

Looking at Lees warranty, they'll repair it, or give me half off of the new style press.

I'm guessing the shipping will be a bit hefty on cast iron presses.

Should I go with warranty, or look at other presses?
