so i recently got rid of my anxiety about ai, basically I was scared that it was gonna kill us and etc based off all the news, i got my anxiety over by not looking at it on the internet and ignoring it, but now my dad wants me to start researching about A.I apparently because "its gonna change the future" "its gonna help you ease in your job" and etc, what should i do? (im a freshman in highschool)

Can I use this for games exactly such as valorant and minecraft while using it in charge plugged, and then take it to school and use it for school things only without being plugged in? Will it be able to run without being plugged in if I'm not gaming?
I don't really wanna play triple a games or very graphic demanding games just minecraft, roblox, and valorant perhaps. I am also planning to do my education on this laptop, is this laptop good ?
