Book6 Pro Glitch?

Book6 Pro Glitch?

I'm currently on the EDU store, and the Book6 Pro is listed at $1,159.99 without selecting anything. However, the 16GB spec is greyed out, but I'm still able to check out for the 16GB 14" 512GB version. Strangely, it says get 32gb at the price of 16gb, but I see no option to do that, as selecting the 32GB forces an upgrade to the 1TB spec. Is the 16gb version supposed to be sold out??

$1888 Build

Newegg deals right now, if I already have a Corsair 4500X RS case, should I buy these parts? Seems like a solid deal coming out to $1888 after tax for me, and then $150 worth of points so $1738. Only concerns I have are with the RAM brand (never heard of) and compatibility, help me recommend some swaps if needed please. Also comes with a free Cooler Master 240 IO cooler.

Upgrading into ~$1850 Build after 6 years

Hi all, I've had my Dell XPS8940 for 6 years now, and it's started to get pretty dated. I play games such as Forza Horizon, American Truck Sim. Assetto Corsa, FPS, and looking to get into some other graphic-heavy games as well.

  • New build or upgrade?
    • New
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)
    • Already have mouse + keyboard
  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)
    • Gaming & Workstation
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center?
    • U.S., many Micro Centers nearby.
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)
    • Yes, but not sure what I should be looking at right now. Thinking anywhere from 27 inches to 32, probably on the larger side. I'm starting to lean towards better visuals, but not sure how big the difference is between 1440P and 4K, but would want one of those. Not too concerned about refresh rate, as long as it's reasonable. Also considering mini-LED and OLED, but concerned about burn in since I will also be using it to do work on top of gaming. Recommend whatever you think is suitable! Budget would be maybe sub $500? (separate budget from pc)
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations)
    • Preferably under $1850 pre-tax for just the PC, but I have some wiggle room and I have 10% cashback on Amazon so the budget can be stretched.
  • WiFi or wired connection?
    • WiFi
  • Size/noise constraints?
    • Don't want it to be too loud, I don't play with headphones really so as long as it isn't blasting like a jet engine it'll be fine. (My current computer is really loud)
  • Color/lighting preferences?
    • Don't care too much, it'll be sitting in a more discreet area, prefer black case though
  • Any other specific needs?
    • Decently future-proof
    • I get 10% Amazon cashback so would buy from there if it's the cheapest option
    • 2TB SSD
    • I would like it to be able to handle 4K at a solid level

    • Yes, but not sure what I should be looking at right now. Thinking anywhere from 27 inches to 32, but my desk is built weirdly such that I might not be able to fit monitors that are too large.
