[REQUEST][STEAM] Motor Town: Behind The Wheel (20% Off, Regional Price $6.55)

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all doing well.

I've been thinking about this game called Motor Town: Behind The Wheel for the past few days and finally decided to make a request while it's still on sale.

A few years ago I used to play Euro Truck Simulator 2 almost every day with my old Logitech Driving Force GT wheel. It wasn't anything fancy but I loved it. I'd put on some music or some podcast and just drive for hours. It was one of my favorite ways to relax after a long day.

Sadly I had to sell the wheel because I needed the money. After that I tried playing ETS2 with a controller, but it just didn't feel the same anymore, so I slowly stopped playing.

Recently I came across Motor Town and I've honestly been hooked just watching gameplay videos. I love that you can do all kinds of jobs instead of only trucking. Driving taxis, buses, tow trucks, making deliveries... it looks like the perfect game to just chill with and slowly make progress.

The game is currently $6.55 with my regional pricing because of the sale. I'm from a small rural city in Pakistan, and there aren't really many part time jobs here for students, so I don't have a way to earn extra money or build up savings for games.

Most of the games in my Steam library were either gifts from friends or games I picked up during really deep Steam sales.

If someone decides to gift me the game, I'd really appreciate it and it'll definitely get a lot of playtime. If not, that's completely okay too. Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a great day.

Is Motor Town worth buying if I loved ETS2?

Hey everyone,

I've been thinking about picking up Motor Town and wanted to hear from people who've actually put some time into it.

I used to play a lot of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and really enjoyed the chill driving, progression, and just relaxing on long trips. Would Motor Town scratch a similar itch, or is it a completely different experience?

I'm also curious about the future of the game. Does it seem like the developers are actively supporting it with new content, or does it feel like it's nearing the end of development?

Lastly, about how many hours of content can you realistically get out of it before it starts feeling repetitive?

I'd love to hear your thoughts, especially if you came from ETS2 as well. Thanks!

I got Disco Elysium when it was free on Epic Games a while ago and I tried playing it, but I stopped pretty early. Not because it was bad, there was just a LOT of reading and my attention span is cooked.

I’m going through a breakup right now and I’m in that weird phase where everything feels off. Too much time to think, nothing really distracts me for long, and most games start feeling empty after like 20 minutes.

I keep seeing people say this game hits different when you’re going through stuff mentally, so I want to give it another real try instead of just jumping between random games and scrolling all night.

But I’m worried I’ll just quit again halfway because my brain keeps wanting faster dopamine. I want to experience the story properly, I just don’t know if I’ll be able to stick with it.

Did anyone else struggle to get into it at first but then it clicked later?

How did you play it without getting bored or overwhelmed?

Just trying to figure out if I should push through the slow start this time or if maybe it’s just not the right game for me right now.
