When did you night time train ?

I've read lots of people saying night time dryness is hormonal and common for kids to not be dry til later.

We trained using the oh crap method at 22 months and our girl has been daytime trained for nearly a year now, but her diapers at night are still huge and wet so it doesn't seem like she's anywhere near ready. I know you can take a much more deliberate approach and wake them and taper liquids before bedtime etc.

So just curious for those who waited til diapers were getting dryer by themselves - what age did you think your kid was ready for night time training? Or will you always need to be more deliberate about it ?

Thanks!

Toddler starting preschool - planning naps

My kid will start preschool in the UK when she's just turned 3 this september. Currently she still naps for around 1.5-2 hours every day. At preschool they don't have any formal naps (they said sometimes a kid might get really tired and just fall asleep, but they don't have specific space or time for this and it would be 1 or 2 kids out of 30). I'm quite worried about how my kid will manage. Am I best off trying to slowly reduce her naps over the next 3 months in preparation OR to leave her as is as she'll need long naps on non preschool days anyway? She sleeps about 12 hours at night normally (7-7) so I don't think there's much ability to make up for naps at night time either.

Thanks!
