How in the actual fuck, when I’m sitting inside my garage over 30 feet away from my garage door, can the little batards know where I’m at? I swear the little fuckers use a homing beacon. Do they not run out of fuel on a long mission?

IWTYO when I learned that in Eric Church’s song ‘Record Year’ he says quarter notes and not callin’ Oates
I always heard and sang the lyrics as ‘Callin’ Oates and Hank’s halftime….’
In reference to the Callin’ Oates phone number where you can call in and listen to a Hall and Oates song. It’s still active btw.
Found out by mistake that it’s actually ‘Quarter notes and Hank’s halftime’
I’ve been singing it wrong the whole time 🤷🏻♂️
