Has anyone ever had a benign biopsy?!

Had my biannual check today.. left with three biopsies. I basically want to cry.

Spot on my leg was suspicious to me, was an actual abnormal mole that I think was new. Happy to have that one biopsied. Spot on my arm was not on my radar but I’m ok with that one as well.

Third biopsy was my face.. I have ptsd from mohs in July of 2025. I left with fifty stitches after three passes to remove it all. My scar is hideous (to me) and it was literally awful healing since it was near my mouth. Eating, smiling, yawning, sneezing, laughing, brushing my teeth. Like I’d almost prefer the three c-sections I had to the mohs on my face.

Which brings me to my third biopsy today. The side of my nostril. Same side as my scar from BCC. She looked at in April and wasn’t concerned. I’ve always thought it was a sebaceous hyperplasia as I’ve had it for quite a long time.

Today she decided it needed to be biopsied and I’m convinced biopsies rarely come back benign? Like I could ever be so lucky to have them call and say you are clear.

I don’t want my face cut on again..
I am searching for some hope? Anyone ever have a spot biopsied and it was nothing? Anyone…

Help me help this thing!

I’m trying so hard to be a good plant mom. We got this girl a few weeks ago and it’s got several new to us brown spots.

I’ve watered it twice I think. I think probably under watered but I’ve always been a chronic over water person so have been very careful not to repeat that issue. I do much better with plants that can basically be neglected!

I want to keep this tree! I can’t decipher if it’s too little or too much water. Soil is dry, I watered Monday (but very little, maybe 6-8 oz of water)

It’s over seven feet from vent, ceiling is about 11 feet tall. I’ve rotated it. I’ve begged it to behave. I’ve told my kids don’t touch it. I’ve wiped the leaves weekly with damp cloth. I live in the south, even inside we have some humidity. A/C is on 70

If I have to give this thing more attention than I give myself, I’m afraid she’s a goner because neglect is my middle name

Handwriting

We have tried Handwriting without tears and didn’t care for it. I just received grade 1 from Zaner & Bloser and I’m just curious if there are any websites or printables I can use. I want the lined practice and like the tall letters, short letters and letters that go beyond the baseline approach in this one. Before I go making copies of some of these pages, is there anything I’m overlooking online that I can print and have for practice. I really like having extras if there are areas we need more practice.

Treasure Hunt Reading & Explode the code

Anyone use these? Would love feedback if so

We finished AAR pre reading last year and it was ok. My son didn’t love it. Looking at the next level, I can tell he is going to like this one even less.

I know it’s heavily recommended but I’m very much interested in switching gears. After doing a good bit of research these two seem to be where I’m leaning but would love real life input

He’s newly 7 but still needs to learn blending and confidence in reading. He easily shuts down and is very much a perfectionist. I feel like he may like the game aspect? Learn in a less intimidating way?

Math with confidence + math mammoth skills review book

I think I have it narrowed down to this as our upcoming math - first grade.

We are coming from the good and the beautiful math so this is new to me. I am second guessing before ordering. Has anyone used one or the other,
OR combined for a solid math curriculum?

Naturepedic pillow

Trying to decide between the solid or adjustable latex pillow

We are coming from memory foam and like the solid style but also like some plush feel. Side sleepers, sometimes back.

Anyone have experience with latex pillows. Briefly looked at earthfoam and I think it’s too high at 6.5 inches

* who knew pillow shopping could be so overwhelming. I have been looking at this daily for a week 🥴

Clothing question starting point

We are just now getting to the toxicity in clothing. For the most part everything in our home - food, personal care, cleaning, etc has been upgraded for quite some time.

Is it pointless to start with underwear garments - bras and underwear? I don’t have the money to completely empty and refill our closets but if I can make a small impact with the clothing we wear closest to our body I want to at least start that

My brain tells me if I can’t go all in, don’t bother. But I like to fill my brain to the max with overthinking!

So is that a good place to start?

High school civics & chemistry recommendations

Does anyone have any pointers for high school civics and chemistry?

It can be online or books, secular preferably but open to all suggestions.

I made the mistake of just scribbling ideas all over for months and now I can’t find the notebook.

Propylene glycol question

What is the toxicity consensus on this?

Is the plant derived any better?

I live in the Deep South, the summer heat and humidity are not standing up to my regular deodorant (Little Seed Farm). I found some stick deodorant that is baking soda free but the first ingredient is propylene glycol. It’s a lot easier to reapply stick deodorant than jar. I am just trying to understand if my choice of convenience is worth it

Bra recommendations for everyday comfort

I prefer bras without wire mainly because I’ve yet to find one that is comfortable. Open to suggestions! The bras with molded cups that alter the shape of my breasts are what I am trying to stay away from, so lightly lined is my preference. I wear t shirts 99% of the time and live in an extremely hot and muggy area. Removing bras at the end of the day needs to be easy!

My breasts are fuller at the bottom

Measurements from ABTF calculator:
LU- 37.5
SU- 36
TU- 34.5
SB- 43
LB- 47
Lying B- 43.5
Recommend size: 38 F (UK) & 38 G (US)

*I did make a post earlier and removed it because I couldn’t edit the title. I apologize for any confusion

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I don’t particularly care for BOB books. My almost 7 year old needs some new options to practice with - I’ve looked at some of the options on TGTB, some are contenders. I cherry pick books from bookshark and have a collection from having kids older than him. However he deserves some of his own and I figure asking here is going to help me!

Also, there are hundreds of globes on Amazon. Does anyone have one they can say that they like?!

Thanks!
