Finally. No more pain from ill fitting chairs. New chair day!
As you can see my cushion is poopoo. It's not good. I'm waiting on my new one from wcs. They just said it will be thicker and more contoured. If any other people in England have better cushions than mine from wcs. Which one did they give you
Anyway this is an ottobock ventus in their white color. It's lovely. The wheels are going to be swapped out for my spinergy but I need a new axel and bearings for each side. It's much lower down to the ground than my last chair which i thought would be bad but it's actually great. Much easier to get out of weirdly. Recare are great! This whole process was insanely easy, chair was done quick and it was not too expensive. I think like 2200 in total

How do you guys get over not being able to do the sports you used to do
I used to Irish dance. I actually only ever got to do one competition before my symptoms became unbearable. I placed second and was quite young and was so motivated. I see videos of girls who are successful in it and it's so frustrating. I wish I could have had that, and carried on

Armadillo backrest for kyphosis
Does anyone here use one? It looks pretty cool and my OT had it as one of my options to help/ accommodate my curve or w something, but I wonder how I will fit my school bag on the back still. Also it's gonna be quite expensive. Anyway just wondering if anyone has any experience with it
