Small nit: Allow us to disable automatically labeling transactions as recurring

Just want to start out by saying that MM as a software is immensely valuable to me. This feature, though, has like a 5% accuracy rate.

My recurring transaction strategy is just to use it for transactions that come out of my checking account (CC bills, rent, HSA/roth contributions) so I know I have enough in my checking to cover them.

It pretty consistently categorizes things like dividends, sinking fund transfers, cash back, and all sorts of bits and bobs as recurring, which I can't think is useful for its intended purpose.

It causes me a ton of clicks at the beginning and end of months and is kind of a frustrating experience.

Love you guys though, MM is a fantastic product

Following July Fourth weekend shootings, Applyrs announces anti-violence plan

> Following a series of gun violence incidents over the July Fourth weekend — including two 13-year-olds charged with weapon possession and the fatal shooting of a Schenectady woman — city officials announced their plans to curb violence in Albany. > > What would be Albany’s first violence prevention plan is available online for review, Mayor Dorcey Applyrs announced at a news conference Tuesday morning. The news comes shortly after her appointment of Pastor Charles Gresham to helm the Violence Prevention Task Force, which falls under the Office of Violence Prevention — a newly created office that has been a key part of Applyrs’ public safety agenda. > > The three-pronged plan includes measures such as interventions to prevent retaliatory shootings, diverting nonviolent calls to the police department’s civilian response teams and coordinating with law enforcement to track ghost guns. It also stresses communication with the public and gun violence victims, including connecting victims to advocacy groups before they leave the hospital and improving response times to victims’ families.
