Thought I'd post mine

Thought I'd post mine

Been seeing a lot more of the Portal in my feed and thought I'd post mine. Honestly, it was an impulse buy. It was on sale and I thought the all black looked cool. So I got it. Had it for about half a year and barely used it until recently. My room gets really hot during the summer, so, at night, when winding down. I boot up the portal, playing some Persona 5 or 7 Days to Die while keeping my room cool. Definitely gonna take it on my trip coming up.

What are some games y'all have played on the portal?

Finally decided to share my 3DS collection.

I wanted to finally share my collection with you all and the story behind it.

I actually only got into collecting a few years ago when I stumbled upon a few consoles secondhand. They were on sale for great prices and in absolutely beautiful condition, so I couldn't pass them up! That lucky find instantly hooked me.

My luckiest find was the LoZ Hylian Shield New 2DS. I had gotten a base Orange and White 2DS, but when I got home, it would not hold a charge. Took it to a different Gamestop and just before I got there, someone traded their LoZ N2DS. So, I got the 2DS I had my eyes on.

Over the last few years, things slowed down for me due to my personal situation, so I haven't been able to add much lately. But looking at what I have makes me want to jump back in!

My goal is to eventually start collecting again, pick up some new games, and expand on both the software and the physical 3DS consoles I own.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! What were the lucky finds that got you started? Also, any questions on my current collection, ask away as a few of them I bought, and a few were a gift

[REQUEST] Surviving Chronic Heart Failure & Medical Debt. I have no family support and my accounts are in the negative.

Hi everyone,

I never thought I would be making a post like this, but I am in a medical and financial crisis and have nowhere else to turn.

In August 2024, I was diagnosed with Chronic Systolic Congestive Heart Failure. My heart currently pumps at a fraction of its normal capacity. Because of the severe physical restrictions, I am completely unable to work. I have been fighting for disability since my diagnosis, but it has not been approved yet. I finally have a hearing in September, but I am in a desperate financial gap until then.

The situation has also recently escalated. Doctors found a tumor on my neck, but my heart is too fragile for me to safely undergo surgery to remove it, so I am stuck in a holding pattern of monitoring it.

The medical costs have completely drained me. I recently faced homelessness and had to move back in with my parents, but unfortunately, I am navigating this without any financial support from my family. I have sold my belongings and taken out loans to survive, but I have hit rock bottom:

My bank, Chime, and Cash App accounts are all severely overdrawn and in the negative.

My phone service was just cut off due to a $1,200 unpaid Verizon bill, leaving me isolated from my doctors.

I am struggling to afford my daily life-saving heart medications and special diet.

Here is the link to my GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/28ed39163

I have uploaded complete proof to the GoFundMe page, including a photo of myself in the hospital, screenshots of my medical diagnoses from the portal, my hospital bills, and my negative bank balances. I want to be 100% transparent about exactly what I am facing.

If you are able to help, even $5 goes directly toward getting my bank accounts out of the negative so I can afford my next copay and try to get my phone turned back on. If you cannot donate, an upvote or a share would mean the world to me.

Thank you for reading and for your time.
