The Lexus ES350H… the car that is single-handedly taking America’s oil jobs

The Japanese have just made this car way too efficient, especially considering its size and weight. I think this is propaganda to ruin America’s economy and outsource all of the oil jobs.

All that said, I am considering taking mine back and getting a GX 550 that only gets about 13 miles per gallon. Who’s with me? We need to band together in solidarity on this.

‘26 XSE mpg?

For those of you with the subject car/trim, what combined mpg are you getting? I can’t seem to get past about 42 mpg consistently—and I’ve got 20k mi on my car now.

I’m typically doing highway speeds (70mph) about 2-3hrs everyday and drafting as much as possible.

Could it be the dealer used a thicker grade oil during my oil changes?
