LEAKING WASHER! Help identifying issue. Maytag Series 3000 Front Loader
Help! Our family has had a leaking washer for years. Sometimes it leaks and sometimes it doesn’t. We just replaced the front boot seal as there was a long tear in it, and during our test wash, water still leaked. I finally took a video inside and saw this. I assume it’s the drain hose. I’m the child of this family and am trying to identify this issue as this washer needing fixing has been a long time coming. My family has mobility issues, so it took a lot for us to replace the door sealant, and with financial issues, we’re hoping this is something I can fix with a new part myself. Not replace a machine or call somebody. The water that leaks seems to be dirty water. Other notes is that when it seems to drain is when more drips? I just really would appreciate help and kindness with this. It’s very overwhelming to have just changed the entire boot seal and then have a leak still.
