As the title suggests, I’d like some feedback on Adjacent Segment Disease. Has anyone experienced ASD? I (70F) had fusion surgery L2 - L5 3 years ago. I’ve been doing so well, and felt back to my old self. But just recently, I’ve had some very troubling back pain just above where the scar begins. I do yoga, and wonder if I could have overdone the backbends, or is it my age and arthritis, or might it just be a strain?

I’ve be interested in how ASD shows up and what I need to be aware of. Thanks in advance!

Hello, friends, are there women gurus in the USA for studying and initiation?

I just signed up for the 9-month course, and I’m very excited. I’ve practiced yoga asana and pranayama for 25 years, and have been meditating for 4 years, and after reading Yoganandaji’s autobiography and The Yoga of Jesus, I am ready to go deep. Thanks to the great AUM for this beginning!

The title says it. We’re in central Kentucky USA, which is typically fertile as can be. Plants are up and growing like crazy, but there are no bees, bean bottles, squash beetles, dragonflies, assassin bugs no ladybugs. All of the good and the bad guys are gone. Anyone else having this issue? Do I need to hand-pollinate??

My mom is now 95, and has had 4 falls in the last 2 months. Her appetite has disappeared, and she appears to be weakening every day. She is in a wonderful Asst. Care facility, and we have all agreed that it is appropriate to bring Hospice in.

I have one sister who has accused me of “being tired” of Mother, and is accusing me of opting for euthanasia. I know how wrong she is, but the wear and tear on me is very hard. This sister lives some distance away, but could easily have come to visit Mom in the last 2 1/2 years, but only did once for Mom’s big birthday party.

I know I’m doing the right thing, but how best to deal with hateful rhetoric and vitriol? Any suggestions? I’ve sent articles and such but that’s “propaganda.” Thanks in Advance.
