Made the coaster this morning, then all the decorations this evening. Pretty happy with how it came out, plus all the empty space around gives me ample room to populate with flat rides later on.

I made a lot of maps based off of real-world heightmap data last year, and my favourite to play on was Ireland - the landscape and location was good to build on, but the map was just a little too big, and guests were getting lost too frequently. To address this, Ireland V2 is slightly smaller at 160x160, but with a lot less "negative space water". The elevation changes have been ratcheted way up as well, leading to these dramatic-looking cliffs which are great to build terrain chasers around, and also provide a challenge as you attempt to build around the elevation as the park expands. Lastly, the trees used are also reflective of trees found in Ireland; I was seriously considering using real-world forestry data to map out where all the foliage should go, before I realized this map was quickly descending into OCD. :p

Objective: Repay your loan and reach a Park Value of £500,000. £15,000 Cash start. £250,000 loan, £250,000 max. No advertising allowed!

For some idea on how long you can expect this scenario to take: In my playtest, I was able to complete the objective by renovating all my rides at once on Year 11, buy all the land in the park by Year 12, and complete the objective organically (that is to say, without renovations) by Year 13. You could probably complete this in less than 10 years if you're a whiz.

I had a friend suggest to me that, after the latest NOBODY HERE doc, I should open up with y'all and offer to answer any questions and just generally give context as regards to where things currently are within my own sphere.

So, what about me? Ah, y'know, still music'ing. Probably never gonna stop with that - music's become such an intrinsic part of being able to get out the feelings I feel, but can't express in words. So, I'll probably be making stuff forever. Apologies to everyone who thinks that I suck or that got totally lost in the shuffle of my genre-hopping in the early days, but the good news is I'm much more stable and grounded now!

Well, what does that mean? Simply put, I've got a full-time job now. Music isn't my main source of income and, as such, I'm doing it from a position of love, not money. If I make something, it's because I genuinely like it, not because I believe that it'll make bucks. Problem is, I like quite a lot of things, so I need to split up my material some way or another, so here goes. From now on, it'll be as follows:

• Shima33 for all my ambient, introspective stuff. There might be some beats here, but not many.
• The NO! Gang for all my future funk jams. Expect some fresh heat coming in the summer!
• Black Banshee for my darker projects. No, I'm not abandoning this alias, despite all of it's baggage. If anything, the baggage helps with the darker themes of the project to start with.
• Konspire for all my instrumental hip-hop - this name might change? But I have an album cooking under this alias that's going fairly well.
