The Black Blade Stormbringer and its wielder The Eternal Champion Elric of Melniboné.

I present to you my HeroForge take on the great Michael Moorcock’s most famous character, Elric of Melniboné.

Moorcock’s literary work has had an immense influence on how I think about fantasy and science fiction, and how I go about creating for my own worlds for things like TTRPGs.

So upon finishing a recent reread of Elric’s adventures, I felt the need to do something creatively related to them.

That ultimately resulted in doing some writing and world building featuring a few fun Easter eggs for my setting, and of course this mini.

Hopefully if you think it looks neat, you might even be inspired to give some of his stories a read for yourself.

I certainly believe you’ll enjoy your time with them if you do!

There are two variations here, for both Elric and his Demonic Black Blade.

Stormbringer with and without runes, as it’s often described in both ways depending on the scene.

As well as an armored, and a slightly more Sword and Sorcery styled attire for Elric.

I had initially planned on making the second variant even more “loincloth traditional”. xD

However, I just wasn’t happy with how any of the standard leg clothing options looked.

And I didn’t quite manage to kitbash together anything that I liked enough before alas…. Like always happens when having fun, time and obligations caught up to me.

A Jedi, a Sith, and a lightsaber kitbashing resource at the end.

I recently ran an Old Republic Era Star Wars “one shot”, and needed a few specific NPC minis, and like usually happens when I start making minis for something, I got a little carried away.

The gallery includes a few different poses for one of the Jedi NPCs, and an extra Sith one as well for fun.

I also wanted to provide a resource to the community, that I thought could be helpful for my fellow Star Wars Forgers.

As I often get tired of having to kitbash together a new blade every time I need one, or alternatively having to go through the annoying process of importing only the blade from another of my Jedi/Sith minis.

The link below is hopefully a one stop shop of all the various colors of lightsaber blades for your future Space Wizard mini needs.

Both minis in the gallery above use one of the lightsaber blades from the resource.

Ideally these are an easy option to “plug” into your own custom kitbashed saber hilts to save you some time.

I've also included a Sith style example saber hilt, to go along with customized palettes for most of the usual blade and core colors.

That said, they're honestly easy enough to edit, so I hope you have fun making whatever weird combo your heart desires!

It’s hosted in the Community Library as well if you prefer.
