I just reached rank 60, ergo, I unlocked Collections. However, it’s kind of hindering my gameplay. It’s starting me out with the Hot Hatches collection and the game’s trying to get me to buy the John Cooper Works GP. However, even though Jerry says “this one’s on me”, it still wants me to buy it with car credits. However, I’m only starting out with 80 credits And the JCW is 135 credits. And it won’t let me proceed until I buy the JCW. Anybody else having this problem or is it just me?

I remember watching a video a while back about a hoax made by a radio DJ, I believe. The story goes that there was an obscure garage rock band from California (again, I believe) that was insanely terrible (and no, I am NOT thinking of the Shaggs). The frontman had a Polish-sounding name and the name of the band was the frontman’s surname with the suffix “-tones” added, kind of like Dick Dale’s backing band, the Del-Tones. The frontman both sang and played the saxophone. He only knew one key on his saxophone, so all the songs were in that key. Pretty sure the guitars and bass were out of tune as well. I believe their discography was at least mostly covers. This whole thing has been biting at my brain for a few days now. Anybody else know what I’m talking about?

I remember reading a picture book when I was younger. It featured a circle (or possibly a triangle, the details are kinda fuzzy) who was jealous of other shapes having sides. So, he went to this magician who turned him into a square. Still unsatisfied, he goes back to the magician who then turns him into a pentagon. Cycle repeats until he becomes this weird angular blob. So, he goes back to the magician who turns him back into a circle. It’s standard children’s book material with the whole “don’t be ashamed to be yourself” stuff and all that jazz. I don’t know how to describe the style, but it reminds me of Oingo Boingo album artwork (e.g. Good For Your Soul). Anybody have any what this could possibly be?
