Hi everyone, I'm about to start tearing my hair out!

I'm new to the Cricut space, I picked up the Explore 5 recently in order to try and start making stickers as a side hobby, as I was recommended the machine most on average.

About a week in, and it's driving me up the wall.
I've tried every single possible Glossy Hack I can to make this work (Tracing over the guide marks in marker, using matte tape, and highlighter (the one that's worked the most consistently for me so far)), and the machine seems to only agree to work with me about 5% of the time.

Specifically, I've been having this issue where my Cricut just absolutely refuses to cut where it's supposed to while doing a custom design. It looks perfectly fine in the workspace - great even! But the moment that the blade hits paper after it scans the guide marks, things go south.

The images I've provided in order are:

1. An example of the extremely off center cut on a custom design right after it was cut (still on the cutting board, aligned with the upper left as it's supposed to be)
2. The calibration cut test on both matte and glossy sticker letter paper (Note how they're both PERFECT and seemingly work just fine on either material, including with the highlighter hack on gloss)
3. An example of two custom stickers from the same sheet aligned as closely as I can, to show that they strangely seem to warp slightly in shape on each cut.
4. One single of the custom stickers, to show how horribly off center it can get more clearly.

Between the calibration pages both working spotlessly, seemingly any sticker sheets I try to cut now doing this (I've tried multiple different designs/files only to get the same issue in varying ways), and having only about 3 successful sheets at random out of the 20+ sheets I've likely tried and wasted at this point, I am at my wits end!

What could be causing this? Are all my design space files somehow just corrupted and I don't notice it? Am I missing something completely? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Additional info, if it helps at all:
Design Space is version 9.75.57, running on a Windows laptop. The Explore 5 machine is connected via Bluetooth in a moderately lit (not overly bright or dark) corner of the room on a flat surface, a desk all of its own.

I managed to snag a copy of the Murder Drones Sticker Pack (1) at Hot Topic yesterday, and since it was in pretty good condition not being too bent or creased, my brain decided the best logical thing to do would be to scan it with my printer.

Not the prettiest thing in the world, but hey, I figured it could be useful or interesting to at least someone here, right? It's a good look at some of the older character art and symbols used within the series if nothing else.

Technically I actually did this in October of last year, but I think the only place I ever posted it publicly was on my Tumblr up until now.
I have no reasoning for this. I hate math. I'm pretty sure something possessed me in order to make this happen.

That being said, please don't take this too seriously. It's not me trying to poke holes in the show or anything, especially since I'm sure by the 3000s in-universe they have far greater technology than our modern day, or even our near future for that matter. I just had a hell of a time approximating the distance just based on what little info I was given.

Never doing that again!

Surprise! I wanted to dabble into making acrylic charms, and decided my first best endeavor into this would be to make keychains replicating Glitch's own Murder Drones acrylic keychain line.

Of course, my first willing participant is X. Really happy with how these came out.
