Your Ol' Pal Shlomo here, already climbed down from the Mountain Top of Hype to see own YASSS QUEEN...in a hurry fam, sorry.

She just wants to remind you all, that despite Denver being the "Mile High City," Los Angeles is the only major US city that has an actual mountain range within its city limits...nice, uhm, facts I guess.

She also wanted me to tell you, in her best Eric Cartman voice that we are going to tell the new kids to..."RESPECT OUR AUTHORITAH!"

GOOD MORNING YOU WONDERFUL SOL ROSA FANATICS!!!

Off to Mama's house to play a club who was named in commemoration of Sporting Clubs that started off as a motorsports club...is what I would imagine I would have to say to someone who is Football ignorant that asks..."Why is Racing in their name?"

Remember that one time Thelma "Mama" Harper got in a car to drive, she hopped into the drivers seat of a sedan, and came back in a convertible? Well, thats kind of what we are trying to do, but not as recklessly. Perhaps drive out in a station wagon, and trade it in for a snazzy Coupe (Koo-peh...for you Anglophiles). We just need to continue to drop some baggage and keep this FO stink off of us.

Duckburg is modeled after Boston right...Mass is the inspiration for the Calisota? Anyways...

🎶This club is like a hurricane here in...another rebuilding year.
Dropped points, bad calls, incompetent FO makes it a duck...mediocre blur.

GOOD MORNING YOU WONDERFUL SOL ROSA FANATICS!!!

You know what would be great, if we could welcome those old bats at the top of the table, kick them in their teeth, and knock them off their perch...so we could...🎶Well

We're movin' on up, to the top side
to a playoff slot on the table
Movin' on up
To the top side
To finally get a piece of the pie🎶

In the last five matchups versus these old bats, we have only gotten one point, and scored a total of three goals scored. I think we can depend on the fans to make the Banque a cauldron, and we all know we can count on the front office to negate that impact, but can the players muster the courage to battle for each-other on the field where it counts the most?

Match Hype:

Your Ol' Pal Shlomo here, made the early trip up the Mountain Top of Hype to see our very own YASSS QUEEN for her words of the game.

It's like not only has the novelty warn off, but so has the romance, passion, and commitment (from the FO) has gone. What can be done to gain it back?

Well, for starters...winning would help, giving fans a reason to believe and feel. That may not correct everything, in fact, it may even mask it. But for the fans who have been here since the beginning, it will give them return on their emotional investment. If we continue to betray that, well...we can always move the games to local Rec Park, because that is how the attendance will pan out.

You can count on your fans way more than you can count on your customers.

GOOD MORNING YOU WONDERFUL SOL ROSA FANATICS!!!

Remember in the early 2000's that one show on Fox with Jessica Alba, where she plays a genetically enhanced super-soldier who runs away from her program and is set in Seattle. It got like cancelled after two seasons...but boy did it come in hot, Max Guevara (played by Alba) in her tastefully tight leather outfit just out there kicking butt and not even bothering to take names, but Seattle was such a drag that it seemed like her fight was never ending.

That is kind of like when we took a paddle to Portland's behind to end season 2 to make the playoffs, only to have to go to Seattle for the opening playoff games, and it was such a sludge, that we lost...thats like Dark Angel. But hey, its time to turn it around and get our three points there finally, and remind Seattle what they took from us, that game...and Jessica Alba kicking butt.

Not sure about the field fam...I think we should all offer gratitude that the game wasn't streamed using a GoPro from the press box with some field shots sprinkled in, but at least the crowd mics were turned up higher than a WWE crowd booing Dom and Nick Mysterio.

Okay for the game, it was not Fra v Eng slobberknocker...thank god, not complaining, but when that many goals are scored in one single game, its better served when it doesn't involve a team you root for. Instead what we got was another steady performance, led mostly by the defense, and better aided by the attack this time, more possession, more xG, shots, etc... executed by our squad.

The first half was slightly tilted towards ACFC until the Huitema injury where the game leveled out a bit more. Sure Chacon got one that was called back, but that was also her 2nd time being called offside and it was very offsides, so we can't be worried about that, Sams and Gorden got that backline well tuned.

2nd half started off well enough after Borges either got dragged or attacked in the box, hard to tell which one the called the penalty on, but there seemed to be two fouls in the same area within milliseconds.

Chicago maybe had like five mins of momentum later in the game, but it was nothing more than a popcorn fart before Jonsdottir put the game in the refrigerator, closed the door, turned off the lights, for the eggs to cool, the butter to harden, and the jello to jiggle.

On to the next game at the Banque to take on Louisville. It is good to see the team coming together and playing for one another, but I hope this team finds a ball coach and sticks to it in time for when some good ol' fashion ball coaching and adjusting is going to be the deciding factor in an outcome. But for now, the squad has climbed into 7th place, and let us hope the can keep on climbing.
