Is this fixable?
On my yamaha marching tenors. My guess is it happened over years of playing and I never noticed cause these drums always had frosted heads on them. What should i do?

My high school was getting rid of a bunch of old equipment and I inherited a set of Yamaha tenors with the standard Randall May harness and back bar, but I didn’t get a stand with them. New Randall May stands are like $300, and even the used ones are 150-200, and I’m a broke college student. Is there a cheaper alternative?
There were these cymbals one of my band teacher had back in high school that I loved the sound of but i haven’t been able to find them since. They were a set that were made to be stacked, but also sounded good alone. There was an 8”(ish) splash that had wavy edges almost like those old mastersound hats. All the other cymbals in the set had a gray/silver color, no bells, and the same waviness/hammering in a ring around the center hole so the profile of the splash fit perfectly into the shape of the bottom cymbal. I couldn’t tell you what brand they were, but they sounded insane. Anyone have any idea what i’m talking about, or was I dreaming it?
I used to drive this Kia Forte from 2010 or 2011, and I loved how small it was. I’m a tall-ish guy (6’2 on a good day) and I usually sit pretty far back, which may seem counterintuitive, but I kinda loved the feeling taking up most of the car and it feel like driving a coffin. The bad part is that it was a Kia and the engine was incredibly unreliable, and it never handled particularly well (being 10+ years old didn’t help).
So my question is if there are any cars out there nowadays that are more reliable and easy to maintain than a kia, but still have the same size and “vibe” of one of those old compacts? Even the new Fortes (or K4 or whatever they’re called) are not really that compact anymore, not that I would buy another Kia anyway.
Anyone have any ideas?
