I am traveling to HCMC for a week till this Friday. And office work does keep me busy a lot, any idea where to find some good company in this city.

If you are sick of the hyper-commercialized, crowded assembly lines that trails like Kedarkantha or Kheerganga have become, look toward the Bageshwar-Pithoragarh border.
This past March, I completed a self-sustained push to Ranthan Kharak. If you want raw wilderness, dense forests transitioning into high-altitude meadows (kharaks), massive views of the Panchachuli and Nanda Devi ranges, and absolute isolation, this is it.
I managed this without porters, carrying my own tent, sub-zero sleeping bag, stove, and utensils, hiring only a local guide at the base village to navigate the less-defined trails. Here is the complete, unfiltered breakdown of the expedition to help you plan your own.
Day 1: Haldwani to Gogina Village (The 11-Hour Grind)
The journey begins with a test of endurance before you even step on the trail. I caught a shared cab from Haldwani at 7:00 AM. The mountain roads twist deeper into Kumaon, eventually dropping you off at the remote village of Gogina around 6:00 PM.
Day 2: Gogina to Bajimanian Kharak via Namik (Into the Buransh)
We hit the trail at 8:00 AM, fully loaded. The first major milestone is the historic village of Namik.
Day 3: Thal Thok & The Stormy Summit Turnaround
We woke up early, had breakfast, and pushed for the summit ridge via the Thal Thok campsite. This section is incredibly serene utterly silent except for the crunch of your boots. The final stretch to Thal Thok is a brutal, steep uphill grunt that will test your quad strength, especially with a full pack.
Day 4: Descending Through the Emerald Terraces
Woke up to a perfectly crisp, crystal-clear morning. After bidding farewell to the incredible folks running the camp setup at Bajimanian, we packed down the tents and began the long descent back to Gogina.
The weather was flawless. The lower trails loop through massive, vibrant green terraced wheat farms, offering a stark, beautiful contrast against the massive snow-capped peaks in the background. We marched into Gogina by 4:00 PM, tired, slightly humbled by the weather, but thoroughly fulfilled.
Ranthan Kharak is still pure. Let’s keep it that way. Pack out every single piece of plastic you pack in.
Have any of you faced a sudden weather turnaround right at the cusp of a summit push? How do you handle the mental shift of making the call to turn back when you are so close?

I am trying to build a PC for myself and here is the parts list I have assembled.
My budget is <= 2.7k USD. With the country of purchase being India.
I need it as my daily driver for software engineering without any VMs just running standard docker containers. I will also be processing my astro-images there and in my current workflow a better CPU is required as compared to a GPU hence leaving the GPU options as of now, will add it up later if required. No gaming on this PC.
Any feedback on what I should do or not do is highly appreciated.
I have stacked 414 frames of 10s exposure from a Seestar S30Pro using Siril(I am on Linux). I am following the following tutorial with some difference that I am stacking directly via the Seestar_Preprocessing.ssf.
When I am using GraxPert to do the BG Extraction and then AI De-noising. What I get on the preview is very different from when I open that processed file in Siril.
I tried unlinking the channels before doing the auto-stretch but there is a remarkable difference.
I have attached the Link to the screenshots for reference. Any advice what I may be missing? I have not done the color calibration yet as the difference is huge. I also tried previewing in Siril in Auto-stretch mode by unlinking the channels.
