How easy it to cross register at MIT?

There are several courses I want to take at MIT that are about hardware design. (Ex: 6.1910, 6.1920, 6.2050, 6.59, 6.6040, etc.) As long as I have the prereqs, is it usually pretty easy to get the professors permission and overall enroll in those classes throughout my undergrad?

Hardware courses inquiry!

Hello, I am a rising senior interested in ECE, wanting to do hardware design. I am applying through Questbridge which is binding, so I am inquiring about Upenn’s courses and undergrad pathways/timelines that are about chip design/digital design/computer architecture/systemverilog/vhdl to understand whether I should rank upenn on Questbridge. Is there a there a quick pathway at upenn for the hardware design courses mentioned above? How soon can I start taking those courses (early sophomore year or before i’d preferred)? Also, if you majored in EE or CompE, did u like your choice of going to upenn? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

If it makes any difference for the timelines mentioned above I have a 5 on CSA, E&M, Mechanics, Calc BC, Chem, Stats, CSP

Submitting all ACT/SAT Scores

I took the ACT once during october of my sophomore year and performed poorly while sick. I took the SAT four times, during or right before junior year. I did well on all SATs except for the third one, where my score dropped by over 100 points. The third SAT occurred while I was sick. Do I mention in the additional info section that I was sick during those two tests? Or do I just leave it because MIT already considers students in their best light?
Will they interpret my test scores as just my SAT superscore? Or will they note my two poor performances?

Need help with choosing recommendations

Applying to ivies, t15s, hypsm, etc as an engineer major. First teacher rec is my junior and senior year physics teacher, and first professional rec is a professor i worked with. I need help deciding my second teacher rec between my sophomore year English teacher and junior year calc bc teacher. I heard colleges prefer one humanities rec, but also recs from teachers u had junior year. Also, my english teacher knows me better, likes me more, and she already wrote a recommendation for a selective program that turned out to be successful. I did well in both classes. my junior year calc bc teacher doesn’t seem to connect with students (she’s a great teacher, and nice, just doesn’t rly talk to students abt things outside of math). I want to go with my english teacher but i’m worried that having her sophomore year will look bad. any advice?

Urgent advice needed for cps

Can I accept the one-on-one guidance offered from cps if I am doing MITES Semester? It says if no other organization is supporting u for college apps then I can do it, and idk if mites semester disqualifies me for that bc it does have college apps workshops. are they strict with this policy? any advice help or input is appreciated

there are two programs i got into that i’m not attending; can i list those two acceptances as awards?

edit: thanks for the advice everyone. I came the conclusion that it’s pretty much useless, but if I have left over space in my award section, shouldn’t I add them?
