Anyone wants this

When I bought it, the stove, cylinder, and pipe together cost me ₹1,900. If you're interested, I'll sell the whole set to you for ₹1,200. The stove has a glass top and is in like-new condition.

Should I learn performance marketing from an independent marketer or stick with Coursera, Google & HubSpot?

I'm planning to start my career in performance marketing, but my long-term goal is to become a marketing strategist or marketing leader—not just someone who runs ads forever.

I'm trying to decide between:

  • Buying a course from an experienced independent marketer (someone actively running campaigns and teaching the latest tools and AI workflows), or
  • Following structured courses and certifications from Coursera, Google, and HubSpot.

I'm not looking for certificates just to add to my CV. My priority is actually learning skills that employers value and building a strong foundation.

My current thinking is:

  • Use an independent marketer's course for hands-on skills, real campaigns, AI tools, and staying up to date.
  • Use Coursera (and similar platforms) for timeless concepts like consumer psychology, market research, branding, analytics, and marketing strategy.

Does that sound like the right approach, or would you recommend something different?

If you've hired marketers or have been working in the industry for a few years, what learning path gave you the biggest return on your time and money?

I'd really appreciate advice from people already working in performance marketing or growth marketing.
