2025 Roubaix SL8 Comp for $2500 (good buy?)

2025 Roubaix SL8 Comp for $2500 (good buy?)

I've been looking for my first road bike in the $1k-$2k range for weeks now. I know we're peak season, but I live in the NYC metro area and I've learned the hard way that bikes are valued more here and I've watched more than a few bikes sell for much more than my "research" (BBB and reddit) has said they are.

I found a 2025 Roubaix comp and want to know if this is something I shouldnt pass up on. It is definitely more than I originally intended to spend, but I can technically afford it

2019 Roubaix Comp Di2 for $1500 -- decent first "road" bike?

I will be coming from a Sirrus X 2.0 that I've been using for years. Unfortunately it just isn't enough for the 40-80 mile days I want to do. I found this bike on facebook, its kind of the only relatively modern one anywhere near me, anyone have an idea of the value?

2019 Specialized Roubaix Comp vs 2023 Roubaix Base - Both $1500

The Comp was listed for $2000 and the Base for $1800-- I got both down to $1500. I am looking to get my first real road bike as the Sirrus X I've used for years just isn't enough for the 40-75 mile days I desire to do.

I am open to the possibility that neither of these are good deals, but on FB around me most bikes are a lot older and I am eager to get a nice bike this summer so I can start using it...
