Severe Flair

Has anyone had a flair that was worse than your original floxing? If so, what did you do to help your symptoms?

I was given steroids, epinephrine, ibuprofen, and some allergy medicine a couple months ago for a severe allergic reaction. My joint and tendon pain has been noticeably worse than my original floxing. I have started to slowly recover luckily. I’m looking for any similar experiences or advice.

Buy braces for your ankles and other joints!

Just bought these yesterday and they definitely make a noticeable difference for the pain. I recommend these for sure.

Question about medication flares

For those who had medications flare them, how long did it take for symptoms to arise?

I had a severe allergic reaction yesterday and had to go to the ER. They gave me basically everything that can flare floxies: Ibuprofen, steroids, and epinephrine. They also gave me methylprednisolone / Medrol dose pack (steroids) over the next several days to prevent any symptoms from coming back. I am wondering, for those who had flares from medications, how long did it take for the flares to show up? I feel ok for the most part, except my left knee feels a little sore. However, I worked out yesterday so it may be from that. I am trying to keep an eye on my symptoms, and if a flare arises, consider stopping the steroids.

Wisdom Teeth Removal Update

Hi All,

Thought I'd share my experience with this. I had my wisdom teeth removed, and the surgeon only gave me Propofol and Fentanyl, per my request. I was given no Versed or Steroids. I was also given local anesthetics (I assume it was Novocaine), which I was unaware of until afterwards. This did not scare me because I had local anesthetics before with no issue. I was also given amoxicillin and hydrocodone / acetominophin combo afterwards. It has been a little over a week with no noticeable flares. Hopefully this can help someone in the future.
